"There's a Moon in Her Sky..."

So it amuses me that in the newspapers they keep saying 'The Passion' is important because most of the crosses in churches haven't got Christ on them, or if they do, he's cleaned up and unbloody.

Is this true in anyone else's church? It's certainly not so in ours. In ours (which is Episcopalian), they have nasty little crosses with contorted, anguished Jesuses on them all over the place. In the acolytes' changing room. In the undercroft. Everywhere.

Also, for Lent, as we do every year, Mum and I have given up all things sweet.

Waen has decided she hates C.S. Lewis.
