"Speed, Bonny Boat, Like a Bird on the Wing..."

I rode my bicycle today! (and I can spell 'bicycle', too! I remember I could never spell that.)

Also walked to the post office, and swung on the swing-set at the park. For some reason, in a town with about 100 people, we have a church, a town square, a post office, a playground, and two (rival) pizza parlors. Soon, apparently, we will have a florist's shop. All she can manage is why?

Had eggs again for breakfast. Will obviously be eating eggs for breakfast for the next-- until next winter. Clearly.

And to-night I fenced, not with nasty little Evil boy, but with Jonas. Jonas is rather a good fencer, and has a good sense of humour, and therefore she was quite entertained.

We also did forty-five minutes of parry four and six disengage, got bored with it, and did parry seven and eight cutover the rest of class, which was rather silly of us, but still fun.

Speed, bonny boat, like a bird on the wing
'Onward,' the sailors cry
Carry the lad who's born to be king
Over the sea to Skye

Mum used to sing that to us when we were little, and I just now remembered it.

My toe seems to be falling off.
