I obviously have no survival instinct.

If I had one, I would not have gone biking in twenty-degree weather. I would not have gone biking a mile uphill after not biking for a year. I would not have attempted this in a sleeveless shirt during a strong wind. In fact, if I had a survival instinct, I would not have left the house in the first place.

Gloves are your friends. Socks are your friends. Earmuffs are your friends. Huge cups of hot cocoa are your friends.
