"He Has Left His Home to Walk Among the Wounded and the Slain..."

SO. BLOODY. THERE.

Ayrton/Cyrus; Ayrton/Pencroff. Long. A happy ending. Love that is part of the plot, and not just a side thing.

Are we happy yet, dearest Waen?

"Shoulder to the Wind; I'll Turn My Face Unto the Spray..."

Carol wants us to go to the Ren Faire October 14th with her. And Kate.

I am dying to go to the Ren Faire, and I think Waen would rather enjoy it, too. Also, we are studying Renaissance history this year, so I think it's conceivable that we could go. The main problem is:

Do I have the strength and emotional stability to see Kate again without going into melodramatic hysterics? Because the last time I saw her, I freaked out and wouldn't look at her until I left, and the time before that, I avoided her like hell and freaked out even more when she talked to me. I am, though, apparently getting better, because last time, even though I wouldn't look at her, I talked to her all right.

I don't know. I suppose I could handle it--I just don't think I'd have any fun. I'd be miserable until we went home, and I don't want that.

Woe. Kate or not Kate?

"Mama, She Was Frightened - Crazy From the Fright...!"

*squiggles* I got recced! ^____^ *feels warm and fuzzy, now*

So, yes. Good day at Stoneybridge. Randomly, everyone was happy. Which is rare. Because usually the nurses are rather angry. But not to-day. Sentence fragments and dependent clauses much?

Still. It was Hat Day, so I wore my Courfeyrac cap.

Lost 1.0 pound.

The big squashes are still coming like crazy mad whoa; the tomatoes are in but doing rather badly; the wax beans were eaten by rabbits; third corn crop is out; raspberries are continuing; peppers are in; lettuce must be coming sometime soon; pumpkins, while slowing, are still in; potatoes had a bad season and are out, as well; broccoli is still in. This does not seem to have been a good season. One can only hope the winter lettuce does better.

Apples are in nicely; Asian Pears are still here, but slacking off; and figs are in. They don't taste very good, however. >_>

Am writing Feuilly/Prouvaire for [livejournal.com profile] snowyofthenight. Feuilly is angsting. *pokes him in the head* Still, think it is coming along rather nicely.

Flower Show to-morrow! Squee! ^_____^
