"Wishes Come True, Not Free..."

*wibbles* It's raining! And I wanted to rake leaves to-day! Oh, well, I suppose Wheelock and Cellini and NaNo are more important. Meh.

Waen and I went about this morning to knock on doors and ask people if they'd donate their old political signs to be recycled, but no one was home. We've agreed to try again on Saturday. 'Tis silly, though, that no one should be home on a Thursday. Of all things!

Whuffle. At least I got to have hot chocolate after all. [livejournal.com profile] tiamatschild is right; it's a very comforting thing indeed.

"Well, Lift Me Up With Golden Hands..."

I'm going to hell. Or something. Eeergh.

I wrote Benvenuto Cellin/Diego slash after reading the autobiography for school.

I also wrote it during GSA, and the girls kept trying to read it over my shoulder, and I had to keep saying, "You know, you really don't want to do that. No, really." But it is done, and Waen loves it.

"When the Dark Night Seems Endless..."

Okay, actual content, even though really there isn't any.

Waen's friend is in trouble. I can't talk about it, because I've been asked not to, but v. frantic. Waen and I went out in the pouring rain so that we could deliver the letter to the post office so that it would arrive to-morrow.

Aaand the first sentence we were translating in Latin was 'tempora nostra nunc sunt malos', which is WEIRDLY PROPHETIC and ironic.

Waen painted me a little sign to tape to my Frenchboys tote bag, which is rainbow and says "their marriage is not our decision". I am very glad of it, and shall tape it on directly it dries.

GSA was amusing. We made pizza, but I gave mine away because, you know, I can't eat it. Rachel ate it instead. I am proud of myself because finally I am learning the names of all the GSA girls.

To-morrow is library day, and also Soujin-stays-home-alone-all-evening-while-Waen-visits-Kate-and-parents-go-to-a-movie night. V. pleased. Shall gets loads of writing done, in all probability.

Am wearing my Icelandic sheep shirt to-day because I love Icelandic sheep. Also, I love Icelandic names. I've just found out that Viljaumur's name is supposed to be spelt 'Vihljalmur'. It's so nice of him not to have corrected me all these years. >_<

Waen's latest huge charcoal drawing is glaring at me. Am quite nervous.
