"Here Upon These Stones We Will Build Our Barricade..."

Da's birthday on Thursday. Shall have to get started on his cake rather soon, and OMG O_O Have to order his birthday present! Or it's never going to come! Ahhh!

Righty. Better do that early to-morrow morning, then.

Still, v. excited about the cake. Mum bought the Tia Maria and seven packages of chocolate and I can't wait to start yayyyy! ^_____^ Cake makes everything better, even if I can't eat it. I like watching other people eat it.

Which is why I wish I had more people to make cake for, demmit! Everyone lives too far away (even you, [livejournal.com profile] sparklychibi. Mum would not drive me all the way over to your place solely to deliver cake, evil as that is of her)!

Feh. Cake cake cake.

Also, a lot of people were born of September 23. I wonder why.

You can eat it! Just a little sliver, not a giant piece. Four bites of cake will not destroy your diet.

You can make me a cake. And, um, mail it. Or when I become a famous Broadway actress and go on tour in your city, you can bring it to me.

Mme Bahorel, where does everyone get those icons?

Who else? *fascinated*

And I think it's because our parents got down and dirty in the cold months of December and January. Duh! *grin*

Cake can be sent through the mail, actually. Freeze it and send it overnight, and it'll defrost on the way. Brownies also travel quite well. Of course, you can't watch people eat mailed baked goods...

Webcam?

True! Okay, four bites. Just four. And a truffle.

^_^ Okay! I'll make you the chocolate/Japonais one with whipped cream and cherries, shall I? Or what about the almond cake/almond Japonais with grapes and buttercream and almonds and confectioners' sugar?

Kate, and random obscure relatives of Kate, and I'm sure someone else, because otherwise I wouldn't haven't mentioned it, but... *sieve memory*

Good point! Because there was nothing to do when they were snowed in but get under the warm covers and...

Really? That is--omg. Wonderful. *starts plotting madly* Thank you so, so much... Bwahaha.

Hmm. Er--perhaps--no, no, that doesn't work. Um. Wow. Beats me.
