"Rispetti la modestia. La prego..."

Which is sadder, the fact that Waen wants me to write Sawyer/Quatermain, or the fact that to appease her, I'm going to write her Ayrton/Bob Harvey after all?

Right, off to get to it.

If it's dry to-morrow, perhaps she'll play tennis with me. ^____^

And to-morrow, perhaps, I shall bring down my Les Miserables CDs. La Boheme is lovely, but it's been played nonstop the last three days. I think, when Waen has her Hallowe'en party, I shall bring down the Jekyll&Hyde CDs; and by that time, we will also be able to put up the cobwebs. That'll be fun.

I wore my Icelandic scarf to-day. It's very warm and snuggly. I imagine that's why I feel so good (that, and the fact that I took the Turkish evil eye out of my pocket).

I dreamt of Chrysanthemum last night. The Rosemary Wells book about the mouse named Chrysanthemum. I never realised before that her father is always reading Child Psychology books all the time.

The other thing I never realised is that for the first time... Perhaps I don't want to be a teacher. I'm thinking about psychology or psychiatry. I also don't want to live here when I'm older. I loved it when I was little, and I still love it, but I didn't realise before that they don't like us here. Waen says that the neighbourhood boys have actually stood in front of the car and not let her and Mum past for several minutes.

Ah, well. Soujin has revelations.

Um. Well.

I'm not really sure, to tell you the truth. It might be because we're Kerry people instead of Bush people, but this is the first time we've ever advertised the fact (with our signs), and they disliked us before that... I think it's because we live at the end of a really long drive about one-hundred feet out of town, and are homeschooled, so we don't really count as one of them. But I don't know. They just dislike us, for some reason. Ah well.

I thought maybe you had a giant ithyphallic inflatable reindeer on the roof or something. I saw a comic once where the neighbours objected to that.

Nope. >_> I think I might commit myself before I did that.

Lovely place except for all the people, huh?

*hugs a lot*

Well, yes. >_> And some of the people are nice, like Phyllis. And--well. Phyllis, anyway.

*hugsback* Thanks.
