"Poor, Poor, Pitiful Me..."

My apologies to everyone on AIM. My keyboard seems to have died. I am typing this with copy-paste (pasting each letter separately). My b, space, and n keys are dead. Waen spilt water on it. Gah.

Especial apologies to [livejournal.com profile] mhari, who got the worst of it because I hadn't yet grasped what was happening. I hope she is feeling loads better and I am awfully sorry.

Must fix keyboard. Alas. Good-night.

>_<

But. Wibbly sorries to [livejournal.com profile] flameofdeath, too! Hopefully this will get cleared up by to-morrow and we can write our fic! And thank you, [livejournal.com profile] gileonnen, for understanding.

...I never realised before now how may ens I use in one sentence. For heaven's sake!

Right-o. To fixing I get.

Hi! I saw you on erinpuff's friendlist and friended you cause you like Notre Dame de Paris. Also, we have the same birthday (well, day and month, I don't know about the year).

She has me to blame for getting her into NDDP (the musical, at least). ^_^ She currently has my copy of the DVD and has been watching it like crack. ;-)

You'll like having her on your flist; she rocks.

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-01-04 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
Indeed. I'm sending it back on the tenth! Not before! And I am watching it every night, because it is totally my crack and I cannot live without it.

*blushes* Eek, thanks.

...you're not going to die once you send it back, are you? Because I would feel terribly guilty. :o

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-01-04 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
No, no, I shan't. I'll just start living on Grandda's gift of the soundtrack. No need to feel guilty. Of course, I might start wasting away a little because I couldn't see Garou's tragic face, and if I disappear for a while from LJ it's because I'm hiding in my room crying my heart out because I feel so empty, but, you know, don't feel bad. It's not really your fault.

Ohh... *sniffles*

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-01-04 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
Waugh! I have made the Erin sniffle! *strikes the pose of woeful hang-wringly Frollo*

And that, assuredly, is adequate basis to friend anyone, except maybe George Bush. Velcome to my insane world.

Well, it's about time. :) Everyone I know with a birthday in May has it eleven days before, to taunt me. Y. 1990.

Eleven days before, like, on *my* birthday? I only know like two people with my birthday. And also Salvador Dali, who was on crack so he doesn't count.

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-01-04 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
Um, yes. I have known several peoples with le jour de natale de Erin, and I have always held it to be a way of torturing me, because it's still another eleven days until my birthday then omg!

Salvador Dali does so count. Nyeh.

On the plus side, I get Arthur Conan Doyle to share my birthday.

As long as we're talking about NDdP and birthdays, did you know that Victor Hugo died on our birthday!?

Yes...I had to find some way of connecting myself with Hugo *hangs head in shame*

Also: Do you speak French?

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-01-05 03:08 am (UTC)(link)
He did?! Omg. I feel so--special, somehow. And a little guilty. :)

It is perfectly understandable. *pats you*

Sadly, no. They won't let me take classes. Apparently I'm too young.

[identity profile] cachecache.livejournal.com 2005-01-06 06:20 am (UTC)(link)
It's cool/interesting that you like NDdP so much even though you don't speak French. The music's great and all but one of the main reasons I love it is that the lyrics are so amazing. There's a lot lost in the English translation as you probably know.

P.S. I've been taking French for 6 years in school and I'm by no means fluent. But, I have listened to NDdP enough times to have memorized almost all the lyrics....

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-01-07 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
I love listening to other languages sung. I have things in Japanese and Latin and Italian and what-have-you as well as French, and they all make me very happy. Besides, I manage to pick up at least some of the words from subtitles and/or lyric translations, and then it's fun because I'll have a vague idea of what they're talking about. So, um, the point of that was to say that I have no problem listening to things I don't understand (although Latin I do...), when they're music. I really do want to learn French, though, because I'd love the be able to translate N-DdP at least partially, and to understand it better. So, yes.

*giggles* Ah! Yes, I'm working on that part.
