"Poor, Poor, Pitiful Me..."

My apologies to everyone on AIM. My keyboard seems to have died. I am typing this with copy-paste (pasting each letter separately). My b, space, and n keys are dead. Waen spilt water on it. Gah.

Especial apologies to [livejournal.com profile] mhari, who got the worst of it because I hadn't yet grasped what was happening. I hope she is feeling loads better and I am awfully sorry.

Must fix keyboard. Alas. Good-night.

>_<

But. Wibbly sorries to [livejournal.com profile] flameofdeath, too! Hopefully this will get cleared up by to-morrow and we can write our fic! And thank you, [livejournal.com profile] gileonnen, for understanding.

...I never realised before now how may ens I use in one sentence. For heaven's sake!

Right-o. To fixing I get.

It's cool/interesting that you like NDdP so much even though you don't speak French. The music's great and all but one of the main reasons I love it is that the lyrics are so amazing. There's a lot lost in the English translation as you probably know.

P.S. I've been taking French for 6 years in school and I'm by no means fluent. But, I have listened to NDdP enough times to have memorized almost all the lyrics....

I love listening to other languages sung. I have things in Japanese and Latin and Italian and what-have-you as well as French, and they all make me very happy. Besides, I manage to pick up at least some of the words from subtitles and/or lyric translations, and then it's fun because I'll have a vague idea of what they're talking about. So, um, the point of that was to say that I have no problem listening to things I don't understand (although Latin I do...), when they're music. I really do want to learn French, though, because I'd love the be able to translate N-DdP at least partially, and to understand it better. So, yes.

*giggles* Ah! Yes, I'm working on that part.
