I have new spectacles. They make everything terribly bright, and I've been disoriented all day long, and rather wandering.
To-morrow this time I shall be quite gone.
Lillie, thank you so much for Jane Eyre! <3 I am enjoying it madly. I think I shall burn it onto a CD so that I may take it with me.
As suspected, have failed to finish Fish's birthday gift. Do not win. Shall scan on the part I did finish, though, as soon as I remember to go upstairs at fetch it. ^_^
*points* This is my lazy icon.
We harvested to-day: all the apples, half the peaches, most of the tomatoes, several potatoes, all the red raspberries, some of the second planting of corn. I think the purple beans are over and so are the wax and green, perhaps, although perhaps not. The Asian Pears will be ready by September. ^___^ I like Asian Pears.
We are taking most of this with us to-morrow.
*hums nervously* I think the heat is affecting my head again, for la! I cannot be coherent at all.
I shall miss everybody so terribly...!

Date: 2005-08-13 03:20 am (UTC)*pounces* I'll miss you so much! I'll send Hamlet's poetry out tomorrow, perhaps, and Alice's letter to Patrice on Monday, and somewhere in there shall be a letter from me, as well.
Promise me you'll get some rest, relax, and have a lovely time?

Date: 2005-08-21 02:52 pm (UTC)Yes! But how each kind is different from the other kinds of Asian pears, I'm not sure. XD

Date: 2005-08-20 11:08 pm (UTC)Asian pears, as Miss Kylee demonstrated. They're very nice.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEmg. Horatio sent a postcard in return, Patrice a letter. And eeeeeeeeeee, I got your letter, I love you.

Date: 2005-08-20 11:12 pm (UTC)I've not seen them before. Odd.
*bounces* Excellent! I'm glad they arrived, as they were both sent a bit later than expected. I love you more!
Good!

Date: 2005-08-20 11:14 pm (UTC)Well, they're a hybrid.
^___^ I, er, hope Rodya's postcard didn't/doesn't cause too much trouble.
^_^

Date: 2005-08-20 11:19 pm (UTC)They're still weird. XD
Has not yet arrived. It should not, I hope.

Date: 2005-08-20 11:32 pm (UTC)Tasty, though. :D
>_> I'm not so sure about that. Er. Among other things, he addressed it to Alice and I didn't realise until after it was mailed; and then there's his handwriting...

Date: 2005-08-20 11:36 pm (UTC)I wouldn't know. :P
Well. We shall see. The fact that it is addressed to Alice should not be a problem, save for a couple of confused parents. The post office is usally pretty good with handwriting.

Date: 2005-08-20 11:38 pm (UTC)You'll find out, though. They're an August/September fruit.
Er. Well. It's just a thing. You'll see. It even made Nanni's Mum go O_o, so it's not tame.

Date: 2005-08-21 05:33 am (UTC)*glee!* Promise?
Oh, dear. Well. If it arrives while my mother is at work, my father won't read it, so all that might be a problem is the address.

Date: 2005-08-21 05:38 am (UTC)I believe so! Even if the crop is over, we save the fruit in the freezer and put it in pies and all sorts of things.
Erk. Okay.
