"Take Your Time, and Take Mine Too..."

Music- and image-spam. :D :D :D

Hamlet.

Ian McKellan as Hamlet. This amuses me and makes me wish I had this film even more. Omgshinypretty. ;_______; Just look!

Ahahaha HAMLET. Also I see Horatio! ^___^

Oooh, creepy. Why do I like this so much?

Can I say that's Horatio behind him? Please?

NO COMMENT. XD

Haha, shiny. I like Hamlet's eyebrows.

This also makes me laugh. Because yes. I mean. HA.

Look at the pretty! And the emo! And the moustache which is not pathetic like Kenneth Branaugh's!

Relief in stone.

We're laughing again. Yes.

Horatio is the one in white. They're holding haaaaaaaands!

Woe. --Wait. Is that Holman Hunt? Excuse me, must research.

Music

Buddy Holly was before the Beatles; they're supposed to have named their band in honour of his Crickets. My CD booklet proudly informs me that Paul McCartney learnt to pick out Peggy Sue on his guitar.

I'm Gonna Love You Too.
Rock Me My Baby.
You're So Square! (Baby, I Don't Care). THIS IS HORATIO'S SONG. XD
Fool's Paradise.
Take Your Time.
Well All Right.
Heartbeat.
Peggy Sue Got Married. This is the saddest song he ever wrote. It is also for [livejournal.com profile] kaliscoo. <3 The prettiest tragedy.

Now I go upload picspam.

And amusing? ;) Oh, but speaking of Ian McKellan and Gandalf and Shakespeare (oh my!), have you seen his Richard III? And even if you haven't, do you know the scene with Lady Anne? When he gives her a ring? And Ian McKellan says, "Vouchsafe to wear this ring," sounding exactly like he does as Gandalf, and that just brings up a whole mess of bizarre crossover images.

(..."If I Only Weren't Insane?")

*is listening! stopped after "Stars!"*

...fine. But in Macbeth with his Hair Gel Helmet Of Doom... that is amusing. - *g* It's a very weird movie, but also very good. Richard rocks. Especially in that scene. I'd love to play him someday. I suppose it wouldn't be very nice of me to say that Sir Toby played Richard in that scene in the Shakespeare Scene Night show. And he also played Benedick. Oh, and my character, Henry VI, was killed by Richard III, so that doesn't bode very well for Olivia. And Sir Andrew was Demetrius and Fabian was Hermia and- right, stopping now. *goes back to posting Twelfth Night screencaps* Love you too, dahling.

(...yes ma'am. Hamlet as the Scarecrow, Horatio as the Tin Man, Laertes as the Lion, Ophelia as Dorothy?)

*yes I doooo! thank yoooou!*

...I've never seen this, but now I want to. -- Eee. Oh, Lillie, I am madly in love with you. Who else should I know who'd want to play Richard someday? ...I. um. I. STOP. XD PLEASE STOP. *flutters*

(...Thank you. XD Perfect. Tin Man/Scarecrow OTP!!)

*do you liiiiike iiiit?*

Like I said, I haven't seen all of it (I didn't even get to the part with Judi Dench! Wah!), but what I saw is good. Even with the hair gel. *g* - ...who wouldn't want to play Richard someday? It's such a great role! *stops!*

(Exactly! ...now who's Scraps? ;))

*I dooooo!*

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-12-11 04:45 am (UTC)(link)

Ian McKellan!Macbeth with excessive hair gel is still better than what's-his-face!Hamlet with REALLY REALLY BAD wig. *nods seriously* Plus, yeah, Judi Dench. Totally. - ...but he's Richard! The Third! He's so cool!

(...I didn't want to say it, but now that you have...)

*grinnygringrin - also, needs to do some musicspam of her own, someday*

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-12-13 05:19 pm (UTC)(link)
XD I don't doubt that for a moment. Plus rock, Judi Dench is win. -- XD I really need to read this play, don'tI?

(RIGHT! So. How's it coming?)

*yes you doooooo! because that would be win*

Random fun fact: Judi Dench was going to be the original Grizabella and Jennyanydots in CATS. But she injured her Achilles tendon and had to drop out. - You really do. Richard is like Iago, only he causes even more mayhem. And lots of death. And he just rocks.

(Will write it once I'm done with finals and such! Eventually, anyway...)

*will do once is back home with CDs and can therefore put music in the correct format! beware of obscure musicals!*

That's--really, really tragic. Omg. -- ^________^ ...wait, wrong reaction.

Indeed. Though she's not really a singer - I wonder if "Memory" would have been such a big hit if she'd introduced it. Or if it would have been written, for that matter - I think it was added fairly late in the process. - No, no, right reaction!

(*bows)

*is home! with CDs! yaaaaay!*

Yes, but -- ooh. But. Never mind. My thought processes just failed. -- Oh, good. ^_^
