edit: that was the teakettle. it was left on the stove when there wasn't any water in, and it's burnt out. i think i shall take an aspirin or five. ahahaha christmas spirit -- i'm fine, really. :D but i really need to go to sleep, and that is not an option, so i think i will be wrapping more christmas presents and doing more cleaning
