"Now He's Coming Back to do the Same for You..."

Note to self: Not eating much all day and then taking a sleeping pill around five o'clock is a rilly stupid idea. I feel awful and dizzy and awful.

Also, it has been raining ever since Wednesday, and they've made flood warnings all over central PA. Does anyone want to help me build my ark?

...Um, no offense, but in my experience taking a sleeping pill around five o'clock is a really stupid idea. Dare I ask why? (Also, eat.)

:D If I help, do I get free passage?

EAT, YOU. **clingsto**

When I was a kid, I wondered if I was the only person who realized that Noah's Ark was, like, the most awful Bible story ever. God kills everyone. O_____o

Before that, though, my brother and I played Noah's Ark in the bathroom and flooded it. :o

Oh, Soujin. *snuggles*

I'll help you build an ark, but we have to let more than just two of every animal on. I have three cats.

...not a good idea, no. Eep. Be okay?

And psh, arks are for wimps. I shall swim with my parrot-ox, thank you very much!

Thee's a very silly Soujin. *hugs you up and pokes you*

Do what Zara tells you. The sensible one, not the crazy imaginary one.

Love you. <3

See, this is the confusing thing about self-control--because people really are supposed to have it, but if we overuse it, then where are we? The body wants things because it wants them, because there are real, legitimate needs going on in there (although admittedly my body only occasionally voices them). If you need sleep, if the body clamors for it, then sleep and don't confuse it. If you need food, if your body wants that more than anything else, then eat what it feels a need to eat. Don't feel a need to control yourself just to have control, because then your control is out of control . . . but anyway. To the best of my knowledge, the body that wants is often wiser than the mind that enforces self-control.

*lovesonyoumuchly* I should like to help with the ark, but it must have sails or I'm out.
