...I was intending to write the immense and anthro-geeky thing about Aang's childhood first, but I appear to be writing about Iroh and Zuko meeting a mystic of a banned sect and Iroh having tea with her and Zuko being monumentally rude and creeped out. Go figure, huh?
I... do not know why, exactly. I adore Iroh, but I didn't think my fic brain would decide to pick on Zuko. I think it's just. Yeah. *handwavy* Where you have Iroh you have Zuko, so!
It is a shame, because bitty!Aang is really far cuter then recently-exiled!Zuko.
(This is my Aang and Katara icon - he is the boy with the shaved head, she is the dark haired girl. They are sharing an umbrella! I am sure that this alone would make Aang's day.
(They are, they are all sweet and small and even though you can't see it in that shot she is wearing the necklace he made her that morning. <3 <3 <3
Aang is very grateful to Aunt Wu for enabling the umbrella sharing, in that breathless, twelve year old, walking right next to my beautiful best friend kind of way.)
