(It was when I realized people do write for obscure fandoms and I rushed off to try to find Tom Jones fic but, of course, there is none. And I won't write it since my writing sucks like a sucking thing and I can only write very odd satire. (Tom does too and she would probably be happy to know he's etter now, except for the whole Richard/Ada bit (which I was totally not expecting to happen.))
