So, I'm half-way done with my Sinners and Saints Heroes essay, and I was wondering whether anybody on my flist would be willing to edit it for me. Preferably this would be someone who is familiar with first season Heroes canon, since the essay relies heavily upon it. I will be happy to write fic for anyone who volunteers!

Actual conversation of the day:

Soujin: Sigh. Crystal is so mean, laughing at me because my CWS teacher will eviscerate me.
Kirk: What does eviscerate mean?
Soujin: It means that she is going to cut open my abdomen and laugh while my intestines spill all over the floor.
Kirk: O_O FOR REAL?
Soujin: ...Metaphorically.
Kirk: Oh, well, that's all right.
Soujin: NO IT'S NOT. Metaphorically means I won't actually get to die at the end!
Kirk: *laughs at me*

Also, here is a request because I am feeling blah and think this would cheer me up: if anybody has a song they want to share, please upload it to the comments on this entry. :D I would love that.

Also! I was wrong. Having Alice in my group IS > horrible boy.

I am, in fact, very much alive. I am home from work today because of Rosh Hashana (sp?) thank God for Jewish kids! I also have a contusion to my foot and ankle bone, thanks to one of the kids I was supervising on bus duty last friday. I finally went and got it looked at yesterday after work... it wasn't broken, at least, but I have to go for physical therapy today(luckily I was off work anyway) and I am hoping the PT gives me some sort of brace or something because walking is wickedly painful. A contusion, being a bruise, sounds not like much... but apparently the bone, when contused, treats it like a minor fracture... fun times. The good thing was that it was a work related injury so this should cost me no money....

Mostly I am doing okay, up and down and all around.... Ed has rented space in my head but I am doing my best to not listen to him.

You should totally call! When you get a chance... scatterbrained is no excuse not to talk to me... maybe I can unscatter you!

I didn't even DO this one! The kid was tipping his chair(it was one of those chair/desk combos) and the entire thing, plus child, fell onto my foot. Fun! I couldn't get it looked at until yesterday because I couldn't get in touch with our business manager to fill out workers comp info until then.

I gotta go or I will be late for my PT appointment... am seriously hoping they come up with a way to make walking less painful... it is not so bad when I first get on it.. but after I start walking around it starts to hurt more and more...

yikes! Those kids, man, they're dangerous. They really are. XD Hope the PT goes well. Keep off your foot! and be gentle with it.
