I was just informed by my anthropology professor that I could cure my depression if I just exercised more. I am so mad I can't see.

Aha! Then it all fits - because if she admits that some people need the benefits of this society in order to have happy lives, then that other society she idolises isn't Teh Bestest across the board, I guess...

Apparently doctors just exist to give people fashionable medicines so they can feel their neuroses. Or something.
