Your Galahad is so lovely and so sad, and way more interesting than any Galahad I ever read in print. I love him. I love his -- unselfconsciousness doesn't seem like the right word, especially considering Percy who really is, but he's just -- guileless and totally matter-of-fact.
No wonder Mordred is scared of him. :P
The thing I love about your Firefly stuff is you are GOOD at the world-building -- I can totally buy this tiny weird neofeudal planet. And you get the voices spot-on, which is harder than it looks. And aaaaaaaa, Gaheris. :(
AAAAAA GARETH. Man, it didn't really creep me out until the last couple of lines, and then I was like "... D:"
I can't tell if the writing style doesn't work or if I'm just not used to it. Anyway, it's not super-obtrusive, and it kind of reminds me of Parke Godwin with the pseudo-modernism. *handwavy* I AM AMBIVALENT but it is a really good story.
