"Follow It Over the Hill and Stream..."

Waen reacting to Wicked by leaving the room. Oh, dear. May have to put in a different CD.

[livejournal.com profile] erinpuff set one of my poems to music! *squee* "The Tragedy of the Young Composer". ^___^ I am so excited and flattered 'n' stuff. Yay!cool.

Also, librarywork fun.

Annnd I am reading The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. *cries and hugs on Gregor's sister* She's so wonderful. She's my current idol. She's just so nice and sweet and brings Gregor food when everybody else hates him, and--I don't think I can express this properly. She's wonderful. I love her.

Have also got Mrs. Dalloway, and shall promptly read, amongst the other things.

Working on rather odd schizophrenic!Minafic, proposed by Waen. It's not really, but it works to call it by.

*is incoherent again. goodnight*

"Gregor Samsa awoke to discover he was a giant cockroach. Nah, too good." </ The Producers>

Oh. My. God. I knew I'd heard that opening line somewhere.

We just watched The Producers for the first time yesterday. >_< Talk about coincidence. And lack of short-term memory.

Really? ^_^ What did you think? *was so disillusioned by the end, meh*

[identity profile] eagil.livejournal.com 2004-09-27 11:26 am (UTC)(link)
I found about the whole thing a bit pointless...don't know why. Usually I like unbelievable things. Yet it did make one think further on just how stupid people are. Though it was also partly the times of the writing. Meep. I have more on it in short stories at http://com4.runboard.com/beagilforum .

Ah. I suppsose, in a way, it really is, but... It was awfully unfair. I suppose that was meant to be the point, really; it is pointless, because that's how things are, or were, in the story. It's meant to be unfair.

*goes to read Thing* Oooh, hey, you've got Jekyll&Hyde here too!

Yeah, I kinda went into a Robert Louis Stevenson obsession. It's sad, though; no one posts in the books section. Or replies to much. Meh, it just needs more members who actually come back after they make a newbie post.

>_> Sorry. I can't commit to anything else without killing myself, or I'd join.

A Robert Louis Stevenson obsession is a very, very good thing.

[identity profile] eagil.livejournal.com 2004-09-27 07:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Indeed. I do need to get some of his books. So far I've only been reading stories.

Waen liked Kidnapped and Catriona.

Ahh! Thank you!
