I just realised that Waen has loads of nicknames, and I haven't got any at all. Well, Curtis used to call me Dorothy because I always click my heels when I do lunges in fencing, but I've still not got back into the club now that summer's over.

I need a nickname. Waen is Mimi and Meem and Mia and Meeka and Meemka and a hundred-thousand other things, but I am just Julie IRL, unless Waen is calling me 'Jules' to annoy me. It is not at all fair.

*ignores all variations on Kourin/Korin which everyone sensibly uses*

I feel your pain, Emslet (you forgot 'Miri and Erma, by the way). We have this teacher whom people call "Lanny", and every single time someone says, "Hey, Lanny!" I look up because I'm so used to being called odd variations of my name.

The trick is to take all the names that people call you and mutate them... like, you could be Julia/Julie/Jujube/Jules/Soujin/Souj/S/Kourin/Kou/Kou-kou. Yes. Definitely.

By the way, I was going through really super old fanfiction today, and I found an author's note about the KoK and Taira Law of Amiboshi and Suboshi's Pajamas. And I was much amused. ^_^.
