"I'd Be So Happy I Could Melt..."
Good things about to-day: Clementines. Carrots. Curry. Spearmint sugarless chewing gum. Sleeping until nine and doing well with Latin. The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which Mum wanted us to see and therefore rented. The Phantom of the Opera, which already reminds me of Series of Unfortunate Events.
Unfortunate things about to-day: Grandma Jennie's roommate of two years moved out to-day. She was crying and it was woe because she's been with Verna for so long and she told me they were like sisters and she loved walking down to dinner with her and talking with her and now she's rooming with Betty, who is in a wheelchair and hooked up to an oxygen machine... and she was just so upset. She said Betty's really nice, but she's not the same, she's not going to be able to do the things Verna did with her. I felt really awful, because I couldn't do anything. I hugged her a lot and said it must be really hard.
Why are things like that? God. *sighs*
Interesting things about to-day: One styrofoam cups holds a lot of water. I found out when Shirley's son spilt his all over the floor of the activity room, and I was fifteen minutes getting it all cleaned up.
Mad things about to-day: Rocky Horror Picture Show, verily yea. But neat. And the end made me cry. *is pathetic*
Goodnight, moon.
