"But the Age of Miracles Hadn't Passed..."
Ngggh. While I sit here, in a panic, waiting to see what in hell A. and N. are going to do:
a. Post a list of 15 fandoms.
b. Have your friends list guess your favourite character from each one (only Soujin shall only do ten, because she hasn't got fifteen fandoms).
c. When guessed, bold the line, include the character name, and write a sentence about why you like that character.
1. Les Miserables:
2. Phantom of the Opera: The Persian. Yes, indeed. ^_^ He is curious and spicy andso demned slashy very infinitely the yay-ful character, and I love his hat. Also, he's the only really sensible person. :P
3. Assorted Jules Verne Novels: Pencroff! I love his hat, too--besides, he is altogether too concerned with funny little things like his tobacco and his wheat field, and he and Ayrton make the sweetest couple since anyone else already mentioned here. ^^
4. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Jekyll. But of course. He's got such wonderful character possibilities, and he makes my geeky little heart full-up with delight; also, his hair is fun and he wibbles; and of course I love his source material madly.
5. Lemony Snicket:
6. Horatio Hornblower: M'man Orrock. Oh, come on. In honour of him we long ago coined the phrase 'It rocks like an Orrock'. He has the accent and the pretty and the smart and the name and gahhh. He's Orrock.
7. 1776:
8. Notre-Dame de Paris: Pierre [Gringoire]. Ohhh. What isn't there to love about Pierre? He's got the most wonderful, silly, overdone, self-absorbed way of speaking, and yet he's very concerned about other persons; he's funny and clever, and he's got an infinite number of slash possibilities (Djali/Gringoire OTP!)... Besides, Bruno Pelletier has a gorgeous voice.
9. Westmark:
10. and for something completely different... Fushigi Yuugi:
It is very sad that I had to struggle even to come up with ten. Waugh.
...Heh. I really need to go up and treadmill, or I shan't get it done before dinner; and that would be inexpressibly bad. Well, off I'll go,then, as soon as the music ends. It's actually warmed up rather nicely, but I must know more about the MED.
