"The Stars At Night Are Big and Bright..."
So many apples! If I never see another apple as long as I live, I shall be quite happy.
Of course, that was just the end of the Rambos. The Red Delicious are now ripe, and the Granny Smith any time after the Reds. It never ends, indeed it doesn't; but there, I'm just complaining.
Also I have cut my thumbs most dreadfully, because I peel toward myself instead of away from; and because I slice towards myself, too. Oh, the acute agony, the most acute agony. *laughs*
I am feeling rather absurdly silly.
We must do something about the sheep's heart in the refrigerator door, that is quite a silly thing to have there after all this time. I shall ask Mum whether we can't do something about it.
Lillie, the package came to-day. Thank you so much! It is really the most wonderful thing. I shall be so busy listening to music I don't know how I shall have time to do my schoolwork. ^_^
Kali, you must tell me what you'd like for your birthday.
And otherwise, people must excuse me for the dreadfully long time it is taking me to get anything done. Honestly, how much time do I need? I expect everyone is asking. But I am trying, rather, it's just that it's so hard to find the right idea to work from, and as for Miss Fish's present, it's just sulking at me. It's halfway finished but it has no plot, nor is it truly going anywhere, so I shall prod it exceptionally hard and really try to do something with it.
I hope I have laugh lines and smile lines on my face when I am older, I do.
You know, it's a very funny thing, but I like to have something on my wrists all the time. I wear wristwatches or bracelets, and sometimes I even tie ribbon or string around my wrists, just to have something there--but I can't bear to wear necklaces. I have some, but I really can't bear to wear them. I don't like the feel of something around my neck. I think it's rather funny.
So silly to-night, I am so silly!

I'm like the exact opposite of you when it comes to bracelets and necklaces. I hate having things on my wrists - I've gotten used to my watch, but I can't stand bracelets (and I got so many bracelets for my bat mitzvah - I wanted to kill something). And I feel naked without my necklaces.
...and what have I told you about hurting yourself?
no subject
That's funny! I'm not sure why that is, only I know I don't like necklaces because I have a baseless fear of being strangled. Someone told me that wearing a necklace to sleep by mistake one could strangle oneself, so I was afraid to when I was small and now I just feel that way because I Always Have.
...Sorry!

Lies, all lies! *g* Except maybe if it's a really long and tangly necklace. That could do it, maybe.
Hmph.

I know. It doesn't make any sense, but I can't shake it.

You are far too indulgent. *bwees*
I am meaning to post the song for you, but I have gotten 'phone shy! And I think there is a line I have forgotten, so I must ask Mum, because she knows quite the whole thing.
no subject
ah, but who can't use a bit of indulgence, now and then? i indulge in sweets, in books, and in soujin-silliness -- all the best things in the world, i assure you.
:D well, i shall be very happy when you do ... and i am always 'phone shy, so it's understandable. (notice, how i haven't called you yet ... *looksguilty*)
no subject
Oh, well, in that case...! And thank you.
^_^ All right. Probably to-morrow, Mum will be home to-morrow, and I shall be home also, so I shall see her. (*sticksto* It doesn't matter, I shan't force you or anything silly like that. Just if you want to, when you want to.)
no subject
*nonetheless, indulges in glomping you silly*
^_^ squee. (oh, i do want to, though. i'm just too shy. and i've a terrible phone voice. and ... and ... elephant shrews.)
no subject
*eeeeeeeeeeeee! indulges in that right back*
^__^ (*snuggles* Well, I've a terrible 'phone giggle. It's loud and shrill and ridiculous. So. Also, eeeeee, elephant shrews! ...You know, I've always rather liked shrews.)

^__________^
(i'm sure it's charming. i seem to be very fond of that word lately, but it applies so well to you. :3 *giggles* and i have to ask, do you mean the women or the rodents? ... no, i am not as witty as i think i am.)
no subject
^____________________^!
(*giggles* eep, me, charming? Oh! That's--very kind of you, I'm sure. And I think I mean the rodents, there aren't any real women exactly in the Redwall books...)
no subject
^____________________________; <-- an auspicious, and a dropping eye (stolen from fish)
(ah, i remember the redwall books! i always felt a bit sorry for anyone who wasn't a goodbeast, mostly because i liked ferrets, demmit ...)
no subject
*giggles*
(Yessss. I don't quite like ferrets, but there was always at least one wicked furry that I didn't want killed, who invariably would die.)
no subject
*points all your giggles to fish*
(oooh. off the top of my head, i remember romsca -- if it's romsca i'm remembering. wicked weasel-ish pirate woman with heart of somewhat-gold-like brass. and who died, of course!)
no subject
*giggles!*
(Yes! Romsca! Pearls of Lutra. I liked her. And I remember attaching to someone named Bugpaw because I adored the name. That was Martin the Warrior, of course...)
no subject
(the vermin always had the best names. XD XD not that brian jacques didn't have some pretty classic names all around, though. i want a gullwhacker, demmit.)
no subject
(They did! They did, and he was just... well. Yes. Our kayak is named Grath Longfletch, and I named one of our kittens Briony once.)
no subject
(... you had a kayak named grath longfletch? that wins in so many ways.)
no subject
(*giggles* And still have. Yes. Am a silly silly Soujin.)

With a ribbon on.AND THERE IS NO. SUCH. THING. AS. TOO. MANY. APPLES. >:O
(Why have I no apple icon? I must go remedy this. WITH MY NEW PHOTOSHOP, WHAT?!?!? WOO.)
no subject
I have plenty of ribbons. I'll take a photograph. ^_~FIVE AND A HALF GALLONS OF SUMMER RAMBOS IS TOO MANY.
(Yes, you must. Eeeeeeee!)
no subject
I'm sure I could compile a veeeery long list of possibilities. *g*
Oh, whee! ^___^NO. IT IS NOT. Except I've never tried a summer rambo. BUT IF IT WAS FIVE AND A HALF GALLONS OF FUJIS, IT'D STILL NOT BE ENOUGH.
(Yes I must, I really must...)
no subject
Do show.
^______^! *pounce*They're good. They're pie apples. Five and a half gallons means five pies and a crisp, or maybe turnovers. BUT YOU'RE NOT THE ONE WHO HAD TO CUT THEM UP.
(Well? Have you?!)

Yesterday I had Body Paint right before dinner, so I came to dinner wearing Pierrot make-up. That was fun :-) But I had to wipe off the red on my mouth (not lipstick, something in little pots and it's water soluble) because it tasted so awful.
And I'm sorry about being not-here for ages, but the internet has been most uncooperative. I think it's working properly now, though.
no subject
*giggles* Oh, dear. Still, that does sound fun. ^_____^ ee.
It's all right! *pounces* I hope it's working now?
