"The Stars At Night Are Big and Bright..."

So many apples! If I never see another apple as long as I live, I shall be quite happy.

Of course, that was just the end of the Rambos. The Red Delicious are now ripe, and the Granny Smith any time after the Reds. It never ends, indeed it doesn't; but there, I'm just complaining.

Also I have cut my thumbs most dreadfully, because I peel toward myself instead of away from; and because I slice towards myself, too. Oh, the acute agony, the most acute agony. *laughs*

I am feeling rather absurdly silly.

We must do something about the sheep's heart in the refrigerator door, that is quite a silly thing to have there after all this time. I shall ask Mum whether we can't do something about it.

Lillie, the package came to-day. Thank you so much! It is really the most wonderful thing. I shall be so busy listening to music I don't know how I shall have time to do my schoolwork. ^_^

Kali, you must tell me what you'd like for your birthday.

And otherwise, people must excuse me for the dreadfully long time it is taking me to get anything done. Honestly, how much time do I need? I expect everyone is asking. But I am trying, rather, it's just that it's so hard to find the right idea to work from, and as for Miss Fish's present, it's just sulking at me. It's halfway finished but it has no plot, nor is it truly going anywhere, so I shall prod it exceptionally hard and really try to do something with it.

I hope I have laugh lines and smile lines on my face when I am older, I do.

You know, it's a very funny thing, but I like to have something on my wrists all the time. I wear wristwatches or bracelets, and sometimes I even tie ribbon or string around my wrists, just to have something there--but I can't bear to wear necklaces. I have some, but I really can't bear to wear them. I don't like the feel of something around my neck. I think it's rather funny.

So silly to-night, I am so silly!
