"Now I'm in my Second Circle..."

Well! After coming back from a time away, what better thing to do than a meme? ^_____^

Ask one of my socks a question. He or she will answer you. Whether you'll get a true answer, well, that's a different thing.

So! They are, they are Mister Eddy Drood, Captain N., Bossuet, Miss Zara the snarly, Horatio (Prince Consort ^_~), Mickle, Luther, Duke Conrad, EPIMETHEUS!!!!^_____^!!!, Master Jean Passepartout, Bonadventure Pencroff, Count Sebastian, M. Ragueneau, and--the newest addition--the Devil, who refuses to pin himself down with a name.

Ask away. ^_^

Rosa would like to ask Eddy what he supposes would have happened were they never betrothed.

I want to know how Ragueneau ever got Lise to marry him. XD

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
Eddy says he supposes they might have married one another, and it might even have worked out, although he doesn't think so, really, because she is such a sulky creature, and if he hadn't been bound to her he might have managed to start walking out with a pretty girl like Helena while she was available.

Ragueneau just says he must have been more charming when he was younger. He's laughing.

[identity profile] snowyofthenight.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
Rosa wants to know why on earth he'd want to go walking with Helena Landless since Neville would so kick his ass if he did?

Awww. XD

Mr. Devil, sir, why are you so unfasionably dressed? (Am I correct in assuming that you're Ivan's Devil?)

[identity profile] lion-and-sun.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
Mlle, to annoy a man by presenting him with his memories, it is effective to create a picture. I like to show what might once have been deemed the good taste of Mr. Fyodorovitch: once. All his old ideas are obsolete and therefore embarrassing. *smiles sweetly*

Dear Mr. Prince Consort,

Why haven't you just left that madman already?

Love, Z

P.S. Marry me?

[identity profile] truant-horatio.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 03:01 pm (UTC)(link)
My Lady;

as long as my Lord hath need of me, I shall serve him faithful.

Thine, Horatio

Post Scriptum: I must decline, though thou'rt a fair and gentle maid and any man shall be blessed of thee. *smile*

[identity profile] silverdragon262.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 03:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, you're so cute. *pats* He loves you, you know. Lots. Sometimes it's all he knows, and he's afraid... but er. He probably doesn't want me saying that.

Count Sebastian? ;)

As for a question... Sebastian, you doof you, what would you say if I told you that your sister and your ex-wife are now an item?

[identity profile] maid-and-a-man.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 03:02 pm (UTC)(link)
...Dost say so, Lady?

Ay, Count, for so wast my wife countess, and so by privilege of marriage did I take the title. Yet now methinks I must abandon it...

[personal profile] bewareofitalics 2005-09-12 03:29 pm (UTC)(link)
...yep. See [livejournal.com profile] servantsservant. *g*

Yeah, me kinda thinks you should. Not that you wouldn't make a very good count, I'm sure.

horatio, dear,

i'm so so so sorry.

... wait. that wasn't a question.

... rosencrantz wants to know if you have a favorite color.

so so so so ...

[identity profile] truant-horatio.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 03:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Good my Lady;

Wherefore sorry? Thou hast done me no offence; and, indeed, if thou hadst, I could not but forgive thee in an instant.

'Tis green.

OMGOMG. >:D

Ragueneau: When are you publishing a volume of your verses...!
And oh, Bossuet: Do you do anything in particular for your hair (or lack thereof?)

[identity profile] recipe-in-rime.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 03:05 pm (UTC)(link)
The moment my dear lady wife stops using them to wipe up spills, of course!

[identity profile] eagle-of-words.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 03:09 pm (UTC)(link)
*grins lopsidedly and makes a half bow* You question me! I'm honoured. Well, let me be straightforward, or perhaps not, but you can take a chance, can't you, Mlle.? I don't do a wretched thing for it, and it's likely better that way. I must beg your pardon for such a disappointing answer, however.

[identity profile] anima-mecanique.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 07:43 am (UTC)(link)
Captain N. -- what do you think of Conseil? ^_^

And all things being equal -- if your life had been exactly as you wanted it, would you have still gone to the sea?

[identity profile] prince-des-mers.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 03:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Do you mean the man who serves the Man with the breathing Fish? I do not know very much about him, but I do not believe he is as prompt as a servant ought to be. He did not know how to address me. However, he may have been surprised, for I came suddenly, I think.

I have not gone to sea yet, but I shall. I shall build ships.

~~

*eyes you* I do not, in general, think of Conseil.

*long pause* I believe I would not have gone into the sea... but if it had been in a peaceful time, or for a less terrible reason, I might have loved her purely, and perhaps she would have been different. I cannot say. I would have had no reason to go her, had my life been as I wanted it then, but as I want it now, I would not want it without her. I cannot say.

[identity profile] tyriangalley.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 04:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Bossuet -- Why do you win so much? Because you do. And I had a dream about you. It made me squee. =D!

And Zara -- HIIIII! ^_^ Can I hug you, without being scratched, just once? PLEASE?

[identity profile] eagle-of-words.livejournal.com 2005-09-27 06:44 pm (UTC)(link)
I, Mlle., win? No, no--I always lose. I make it a point. *grins*

[identity profile] phantomsangel.livejournal.com 2005-09-13 12:51 am (UTC)(link)
Bossuet--What is that in your icon? I have been ages in trying to figure it out.

And will you marry me? Because I love you. Truly.

Beth had a question she wanted to ask, but she became too shy and ran off. Dear.

[identity profile] eagle-of-words.livejournal.com 2005-09-27 06:46 pm (UTC)(link)
*laughs!* It's fallen leaves on the eaves of a house, Mlle. Not quite fallen tiles, but in the general spirit. I took it from a webpage for roof insulation.

'Fraid not. Don't want to tie myself down.

Ah, my little cricket, shy? I don't bite.
