"Hadn't Been There an Hour 'Til He Met a Broadway Flower..."
Wanted to finish Time City, so burnt my feet again. Augh, it hurts to walk, and I'll have to be on my feet all day--I've not sat down since I got up hardly, except to write addresses. Augh. *flaily* I need to learn to be more sensible. Or learn restraint. Or something.
In any event, it's amazing how much better cleaning makes me feel. I did the whole kitchen short of cleaning out the refrigerator (I prefer to do that bi-annually), and the den including the dusting, although I haven't polished any of the wood furniture, and I really ought do that. When I get back, I'll do Melinda's room. But, but, I love to clean. I feel so powerful armed with a sponge and a towel and a scouring pad, and going at the counters and the microwave and the sink and the table. Dusting is fun, too, and so is vacuuming. <3 I might vacuum the living room for Waen, since she hates doing it.
Am at the library presently--must go finish my shelving. I did the first batch for two hours, and while I was gone a whole other stack piled up, so I've got that, too.
Also have been writing postcards; took out an ILL form for Claudius the God, actually remembered to eat lunch; am wickedly tired; have promised to help Waen with the homework for her Italian class if she gives me crack!plots to work from; and have failed utterly and entirely either to complete Nanni's or Zara's birthday fics, despite earnest hard work and staying up till two last night, and forgetting to shut the lights off so getting lectured fiercely by Mum. Ahaha.
Also, shall have little to no time until Tuesday. Gahh. I want to reaaaad, and not to have to do it on the treadmill. My feet hurt, and I am a whiny wicked little creature. In pain. Bah.
But I printed out my flowers from Miss Kylee, and printed out again the boat Sir Rosencrantz drew for me, so I can pin them on my walls, now! ^___^
I shall beg Mum not to have to go along to Waen's class. It's two hours long, besides an hour there and back transportation, and I need the time to finish cleaning and to have a moment or two to sit down and stop hyperventilating with busy.
...Toasters are nasty to clean, and I have broken the microwave. Oh, dear.
Now I must go finish my shelving.
