I never, never, never want to see chocolate or shortbread ever again in my life. Four batches of shortbread equals one hundred and twenty cookies, four batches of truffles equals ninety of them. I feel positively ill.
The truffles are fun, though. Are a recipe I adapted; it doesn't really follow the original at this point. So the recipe is wrong, strictly speaking, which is always fun--! I'm going to be the sort of person who lends out recipes happily and then gets confused when people say they didn't end up anything like mine.
At any rate, now all these things need to be divided into five gift packages and wrapt.
I may be pulling an all-nighter at this point.
By the way, is very difficult to remove one's jewellery with one's teeth.
Also that I only used two-thirds the required butter for the shortbread, and they came out fine, which makes me happy.
You know, if I don't make it into pre-med school, I can always open a bakery.

And I can teach you how to make German stuff! Norwegian stuff too, I suppose, but that's nowhere near as tasty. I'm baking tomorrow. I've been making all our Christmas cookies for the past three years *is proud* but then I've had rather more than a week to do it... But hectic!baking is nice; stressful!baking isn't.
Truuuuffles. Pity one can't send them via e-mail.
