"My New Lover Made Me Keys to the House..."

Well, I, for one, am crying. Because Harold and Maude makes me cry.

I bobbed for apples at Fort Hunter and got my hair very wet; and Mum bought me a new bracelet to replace the one I lost, the one Zara gave me. This one is pretty funny-shaped stone beads in ivory and honey-colour and dark warm brown. It's very beautiful, even if it is not my old one. And it came with a little silk bag, and I love little silk bags. I have lots.

I feel unfulfilled, and that's not right at all, because so many things are so nice for me right now. I am clearly doing something wrong.

*hugs, and loves*

(How did we say you should be thinking?)

--What did we say? Should I say I'm just having a down period and everyone does, and that's okay, and I shouldn't be guilty for it?

[identity profile] gileonnen.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
Right, right--and also, you may say, "I feel unfulfilled," so long as you say, "and I'm going to do [insert things here] to try to work on that."

[identity profile] mhari.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
No, you're clearly depressed. Different thing. *snuggles you*

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
Anyone who takes fifty mg of Prozac every morning cannot be depressed.

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
I'm going to try to get out a little more, and work on my self-soothing exercises this evening?

[identity profile] gileonnen.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
That sounds like a great thing to put between the square brackets! ^______^

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
That's what I'll put down, then. ♥

There was a musical of Harold and Maude a few years ago! Tom Jones wrote the lyrics. I don't remember who did the music - not Harvey Schmidt, though, because he retired. :( And it didn't get recorded, so I don't know anything about it. Ah well.

*and hugs*

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
It would be--so sad. Because Tom Jones makes things obscurely sad, and film is already sad. Agg.

*loves*

I need to see Harold and Maude! I've heard nothing but good things about it. Randomly, I finished watching King Kong three hours ago, and I am still down in the dumps. :-(

I am clearly doing something wrong.
I don't think it's you at all. Life's just funny sometimes.

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
It is rilly rilly sad because he's stupid at the end. Incredibly stupid. ;____________; Perhaps I am just rilly prejudiced in the favour of old people over young people, but--klsdjsdkjfl. It's beautiful and awful (the film), and he is stupid.

Sometimes. *loveson* How are you?

[identity profile] silverdragon262.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 02:00 am (UTC)(link)
That, my dear, is ridiculous. For starters, I don't remember you and Gil saying "I'm just having a down period and everyone who doesn't take Prozac does, and that's okay, and I shouldn't be guilty for it?"

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 02:02 am (UTC)(link)
If you don't stop being logical at me, I shall throw my bottle of electric-orange-and-blue capsules at you. *clings*

There's a review of it here - apparently it wasn't very good. :(

*lovesback!*

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
Oooh, no, they didn't like it. That's too bad. --On the other hand, every play can't be the Fantasticks? :)

[identity profile] mhari.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
That's why you take Prozac, sweeting. Anybody who's not depressed doesn't need to.

Which reminds me. *skitters off to AIM*

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
I've been taking it since January. I ought to be good by now.

*--eeps!*

Especially when Harvey Schmidt isn't involved? *g*

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2006-09-18 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
Exactly! That's what did it, of course.

They just couldn't bear to see their OTP broken up!

*snuggles* I fear you're going to have to throw them at me, then. For one, you are still in the recovery process, and saying that someone who takes medicine is not allowed to still feel sick sometimes is unfair to everyone. Also, there is a difference between depressed and depressed, and the Prozac only handles one of them.

I'm glad you have a new bracelet, though.

Woe!

No more pretty twinkly piano music! :(

I'm not saying anybody else isn't allowed--it's just that I'm not allowed.

It feels relieving to have something on my wrist again.
