To-day I'm thankful for Mum and her new job, since she's happy now. I'm thankful for her hugs and her prettiness when she smiles and her always telling me that I'm beautiful, even when I don't believe it. I'm thankful for Daddy, because he's so nice about all my stupidity and my tantrums, and so unerringly sweet to us all. I'm thankful for Waen, especially, for being just the best friend and the most irritating person, for making me think twice.

I'm thankful so much for Zara, who is beautiful and fun and funny and smart and thoughtful and knows so much and helps so much and who I love so much, and for Manon, who is so wise and snarky and wonderful, and for Miss Kylee, who is just the most exquisite heart of my heart, and for all of you, and for all my friends offline, as well; for my people at work, everybody at the library, and the people in between, too.

I'm thankful for all the doctors who've helped me get so much better than I was last Thanksgiving, and for the people who've worried about me and cared about me and helped me get better. I'm thankful for the people who are going to help me get better from my depression, too. Someday I shall be normal and well-adjusted, and then won't you all die from surprise.

I'm thankful for religion, because even though it doesn't half always do good, it has done a lot of good, and a lot of good for me; and I'm thankful for Daphne and my beautiful church for bringing me to the good part.

I'm thankful, I'm thankful, I'm thankful. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody. ♥

I'm thankful that, even when you feel hurt, you have enough love and light in your heart to be grateful for others--I'm thankful that you are learning not to push us away "for our own good." I'm thankful that you let me be a part of your life, in whatever way I can. ^____^
