Ohhhh, dear Lord. The folks have been here for two hours and already everything has exploded massively. Will Soujin and her family survive the next three weeks? FIND OUT. JOURNAL ENTRIES DAILY AT WHENEVER THE HECK POSSIBLE.

Granddad: What is this?
Mum: It's a hedgehog.
Granddad: It doesn't look like a hedgehog. It's brass.
Mum: I got it in Wales. I think they know hedgehogs.
Soujin: *coughOrkneycough*
Granddad: *takes the partridge card-holders and gangs them up around the hedgehog* There! What's this?
Waen: They're going to eat it.
Soujin: In painful ways.
Granddad: That's not very nice. *spends the rest of dinner rearranging them in various threatening positions around the hedgehog and asking what the hell they are at intervals*

And just now Mum came in here and went "AUGH MAMA STILL ISN'T SLEEPING".

Soujin: What's she doing?
Mum: Wiggling.

Edit: To-day at work I definitely told Barry to 'pony up the old people'. I'm not sure, but I think this is a sign I've been there too long.
