Bulletin items for to-day!
One. It is kind of inconvenient to have a lightweight car during these winds. XD I nearly got blown off the highway coming here. It's very unnerving, and I have to go very slow, and meanwhile I'm getting passed by eighteen-wheelers going eighty and terrified I'll get swooped into them. May have to take the back roads home; when you're going thirty it's a lot safer.
Two. EXCITING. My metabolism, after three years, finally seems to have levelled out. There was a time, three years ago, when eating a piece of non-diet bread made me gain three pounds overnight.
mhari will remember because of the subsequent hysterics. At any rate, at this point, I can pretty much eat like a normal person without losing or gaining huge amounts of weight. This is really, really exciting, as I am totally ready to eat like a normal person.
Three. We had a snowball fight yesterday. ^__^ And then we made homemade popcorn by putting it in the pan and doing it on the stove. Maria loves this, although it results in a lot of screeching and "CRIPES TAKE IT OFF TAKE IT OFF" and the smoke alarm goes off a lot. But it's very exhilarating.
Finally, in special news, this journal is now a disparagement-free zone. IF YOU ARE COMPLIMENTED ON THIS JOURNAL, anywhere on this journal, you are NOT PERMITTED to diffuse it by saying 'No, I'm not', 'you're flattering', 'I suck at something else', 'actually I suck at this', or 'liar', or any variation thereupon. You can either say 'thank you' or remain silent. If you break the rules, you have to write me fic. >_> So. I expect you to behave accordingly.

I think that is an excellent rule. My only question is, will you be abiding by it yourself? :)

I got your package of hugeness the other day, and my god. the lollipop. the socks. The little plaster doodad. The SCARF. The Ogden Nash.
You are a princess of amazingness. Also I am wearing the scarf like everywhere now, tucked into business suits. I get compliments.

OH MY GOD. :D Yay. The most embarrassing part, though, is that I FORGET what the plaster thingy is. XD Oh, God. I am so fail.
<333333333 Scarves are one of the big joys of life, and need to be shared, really.

Huzzah, good metabolism! Mine appears to be doing the same thing, which is cool, because vegetarianism apparently=carbohydrates like whoa for me. ^_^;; And you're too dear not to have all of the cookies and ice cream and bread and cake that you want. ^__^
Can I refuse a compliment simply to get you to ask me to write fic? :P

That's great! It really is awful when you don't know what's going to happen day to day just from eating. I like feeling comfortable with these things.
You sweet thing! ^_~

Hooray for happy metabolisms and snowball fights ^_^
You know, in France, it's considered very rude to accept compliments. *nodnod*

I'm very happy for you re: your metabolism. Eat (and eat and eat), drink, and be merry. ♥ ♥ ♥
Lastly, great rule. Enforce it with great vehemence. *loves and smooches*
