"Grateful We Are for our Daily Bread..."

Postsecrets for the rest of my socks, because I'm silly and have some time on my hands, it seems.

Ragueneau, Epimetheus, Pencroff, Sebastian, Passepartout. They're all quite obvious, too.

Second is Ragueneau and last is Epimetheus? And second to last is Passepartout, which I shouldn't REALLY guess since I haven't even read his book? XD

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 09:24 pm (UTC)(link)
You absolutely have it. :D You should guess Pencroff's, though, because you HAVE read his book.

The boat one? Which would make the first one... otherguy's?

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 09:35 pm (UTC)(link)
The boat one, which would make the first one Sebastian's. Twelfth Night thingy.

Heee! I love Uncle E's.

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 10:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Somehow it loses something, though, when it's without the !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^__________________^ !!!!!!!!!!!!!

[identity profile] talissarocsham.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 10:24 pm (UTC)(link)
The colours somewhat compensate for it, though.

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 10:29 pm (UTC)(link)
*g* This is true.

[identity profile] anima-mecanique.livejournal.com 2005-08-21 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, the last one is Epimetheus, the first one should probably be Sebastian, the second to last is Passepartout, and the one above is Pencroff. That leaves Ragueneau for the last. I don't even know what Ragueneau's source material is.

Passepartout's made me wince. *hugs him* I don't think that'll ever be the case, my dear. While he might be fine on his own, Phileas doesn't ever want to BE on his own again. It would be like eating in four-star restraunts and then being told to go live on bread and water.

Typists know these things.

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-08-22 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, yes, yes, yes. Fanon!Sebastian, of course. Ragueneau is from Cyrano de Bergerac.

Awww. I am imparting this to him, because the silly, silly thing ought to know.

Of course we do.

OT3s as intertwined as theirs can never stop needing one corner of their triangle. Without Jean, there would be no humour in the household at ALL, and even Aouda's quiet smiles would fade. They'd grow stiff and cold and a little frightened of one another, with no one there to willingly and eagerly bridge every gap and ford every river, however literal or metaphorical.

For the same reasons - Aouda/Passepartout alone wouldn't work because they'd be rather fluffily endearing but completely without any structure or backbone at all. They'd just sort of go faffing around the world pointlessly. They both need someone to adore and care for and tend to, someone to look up to and lean on. If Phileas weren't around, they'd spend all their time trying to do things for one another to no avail, and fall apart in a sad dust bunny at the end of their days.

and I wrote what would happen without Aouda already.

And THAT would be why I love you, thank you.

The dust bunny of Aouda and Passepartout's lives without Phileas is a tragic thing indeed.

Epi could probably take care of Elementary for a while, if he'd like. ^___^

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-08-22 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
I think the squee of that might kill him.

[identity profile] silverdragon262.livejournal.com 2005-08-22 03:18 am (UTC)(link)
Hee. Is that a yes or a no? XD

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-08-22 03:20 am (UTC)(link)

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-08-22 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
This could be a very awesome thing.

[identity profile] julietveiled.livejournal.com 2005-08-22 08:11 am (UTC)(link)
They ARE all obvious, but that doesn't make them any less wonderful.

Epi wins tonight. This is his night. All his.

[identity profile] rainbowjehan.livejournal.com 2005-08-22 02:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Thank you. *bows*

:D :D :D Epi thinks he wins, too. As he told Paris, Miss Zara told him there was no-one like him. In the world. Like ever. He's more flattered than he can say.
