Helena/Zara. Wax.
no subject
Two proud girls, but one of them pretends she belongs and the other one takes pains she doesn't. Helena is sorry for this new girl, because she burns like a flame and she burns everybody who's around her, and they all want to put her out to give themselves a bit of peace. Helena, though, Helena is smooth as wax, and she flows around the flame safely. She's just as proud and Zara trusts an equal; Helena trusts too. They are together one tall proud candle.

Lise/the Baker. Ahaha. Scavenge.
no subject
Lise never used to buy bread. Ragueneau made it fresh every morning with her help. Now her musketeer is away all the time with his regiment, and she buys her bread. She hates it.
The Baker is afraid of her but admires her sharp tongue. He gives her the freshest loaves.
Lise has baked bread long enough to know that, but she's never been loved enough to know why.

Something easy for my poor Soujin. XD Er, well, easier. Philippe and Raoul. Not slash because that'd be... ew. "Objection."
no subject
XD
Philippe has no objection to Raoul going to sea; in fact, he'd like it. It'll be good for the boy. What he does mind is that Raoul says he won't write letters. I'll have no time, he says, they'll get lost, he says, and you won't need to hear from me all the time, anyway. He wrong, though. Philippe would give the world to know Raoul is safe.

Ummm... Stock/Ragueneau! Cobweb.
no subject
The first poet spent all morning writing verse about cobwebs. The second poet worked through noon making one out of pastry and chocolate dewdrops. At one o'clock they traded works of art, and each thought the other the cleverest poet in the world.

Marius/Gideon Spillett. (for, you know, a switch XD) Congested. Which is such a gross word, I apologize. Blame the dictionary.
no subject
O_O How do you do it?
Getting old meant getting ill; Marius sighed, and rubbed his stiff hands. The cold in his chest left him congested yet, and his knees had become arthritic. For all that, though, he did not mean to collapse in the street. He was glad Cosette was not there to see. When he came to, he was being tended to by a red-haired boy who smiled politely and said his name was Gideon. Marius repeated it with an accent, and the red-haired boy nodded. Something in his eyes made Marius safe.
no subject
Ooooohhh! Awwww! That is just... wahhh. I'm so pathetic. I hate thinking of Marius and Cosette getting old.
Okay! This one will NOT BE EVIL. Umm... um...! Joly/Bossuet! Ahaha! "Tendency."
no subject
I know; they always make me sad.
He has a tendency to kiss Joly while laughing, while makes Joly smile and complain both at once.
One line. :D
Ask me some more Westmark ones, blast you. I'm much better with those. CROSS ME OVER UNTIL IT HURTS, YO.
no subject
Theo/Marius! XD Er, require.
no subject
Theo meets the threadbare young man in a city somewhere outside of Westmark, and begins to sketch him immediately. Marius meets the young man with the set of pencils in a bystreet in Paris, and stands still when he realises he's being drawn. Their eyes meet once, and Theo throws away his first eight tries, afraid they aren't good enough; Marius pulls on his cuffs anxiously, wishing they weren't so embarrassingly short.
no subject
Er... Rina/Justin. XD Easy things, yay. Fury.
no subject
His eyes are full of fury, but he smiles at her. Rina looks away; it isn't him. He calls her Lapwing and she misunderstands him, just this once: she thinks it means her doesn't love her any longer.
no subject
Witz/Mickle! Ahaha. Forgiving.
no subject
Oh, man. CROSS ME OVER. LIEK WHOA.
At first she's too angry to understand anything--she needed him (but it's more than that, she wanted him, she loved him, he wasn't a nameless soldier any longer)--but she was always forgiving, and she soon isn't angry at all, and understands everything. For a few days it breaks her heart, and years later it still makes her quiet with regret.

Harbert/Rina. "Melody."
no subject
She's so beautiful! She's like a flower, like a butterfly, like the first eight notes of a melody his mother used to sing, like the way Pencroff says the sun looks when it catches in a white sail at evening. Harbert stares at her in wonder, unable to look away, studying her like his favourite books, until she catches sight of him, blushes, and looks down at her tub of dirty water in shame.
no subject
Ahahaha! I just thought of ANOTHER we share. But I don't know if you've ever written fic for it, so I'll give you an alternative.
Howl/Enjolras, "glisten"
(alt, in case you, like, detest that one passionately XD Montparnasse/Raoul. Same word)
no subject
:D Ah, yes. That one.
They think Enjolras is unaware of his beauty, but they often think things that are incorrect. The tall young man whose ears are marked with glistening stones, whose eyes are the very same colour of blue, who offers his magic and enchants them all, sparks jealousy like a horseshoe striking the street. Luckily, he has more then enough magic about him, and with a secret smile like a falling star, he enchants Enjolras, too, though with kisses instead of handkerchiefs pulled out of the air.
no subject
Well then. This time, Montparnasse/Raoul. "weave"
no subject
The streetlamps make a pattern on the cobblestones like a loose, bad weaving, or from this angle golden puddles. He likes the gold better. He likes the smooth-faced sailor lad best. A boy like that is easiest to rob, and pretty enough that he'll take more than money.

Cosette/Marius (laaame, but how I love it. XD)
