the Baker/Ragueneau "small"
(no subject)
Date: 2005-08-25 05:33 pm (UTC):D :D :D :D
He came into the shop timidly, closing the door behind him with a small click. Ragueneau looked up from the poetry he was writing on a paper sack. "Sir--I'd like to borrow some flour. I'm a baker myself, but we have no money for supplies--I'll pay you as soon as I sell something--" Ragueneau sent him off with a basket of things. He simply wouldn't tell Lise.

Bahorel/Rosa Bud "trimmed"
(no subject)
Date: 2005-08-25 06:09 pm (UTC)He was a big, burly man who never trimmed his beard if he could help it, and could lift her up easily, with his hands around her tiny waist. Rosa, ten years old, laughed and tried to tease him, but he kissed her cheek and she couldn't. He was her second cousin, her third cousin, something, maybe, she didn't know? When they wrote her (she was sixteen then) and told her he had been killed, she wouldn't laugh for three days.

Date: 2005-08-25 06:13 pm (UTC)Oohhhhhh. That's so... that's so Rosa. XD
Feuilly/Jehan (since you never REALLY wrote it XD) "June"
(no subject)
Date: 2005-08-25 06:18 pm (UTC)^___^
(AHH WICKED)
Jehan, for all his blushing silliness, truly took his poetry seriously. He could write good verse, very good verse, if a little unoriginal sometimes, and it was the one thing he didn't have words to explain. Feuilly somehow realised this; when, one night in June, Jehan tried to tell him about what it was like to write poetry, he knew he was receiving a gift, and he nodded solemnly.
Then he snogged Jehan senseless.(no subject)
Date: 2005-08-25 06:21 pm (UTC)XD! Feuilly's really not conductive to slash, like... at all, is he? I've noticed this recently. Maybe it's just my stick-up-the-arse Feuilly. XD
Oohhh, I had some brilliant idea last night, but now I can't remember it for the life of me. XD
Valjean and Tholomyes (not slash, 'cos that'd just be... wierd. in a wierd, wierd way) "tell"
(no subject)
Date: 2005-08-25 06:25 pm (UTC)XD No. He's not. It's just-- *snorts*
I'm sure I'm much safer that way. :D :D
"I can't tell you how pleased I am to meet the man who's done so much for this little town," Tholomyes says, sounding more amused than pleased. 'This little town'. He doesn't care for it at all. He is, however, in his old age, a great patron of the church. M. Madeleine nods quietly, without much friendliness, and accepts his donation for the clergy.
Ewww. That's bad. XD

Date: 2005-08-25 06:27 pm (UTC)Rosa/Cosette "bloom"
(no subject)
Date: 2005-08-27 05:07 am (UTC)"Rosa, what a pretty name!"
"It's terribly silly," Rosa pouts, tucking her feet beneath her and looking pretty in her dissatisfaction. Cosette laughs, and kisses the bloom of colour in her cheeks.
"Nonsense. It's lovely."

Date: 2005-08-27 05:09 am (UTC)Gavroche/Weasel. "pallor"
(no subject)
Date: 2005-08-27 05:35 am (UTC)The birdcage of Weasel's ribs swells with pride as he swaggers around the streets after Sparrow, wearing one of Theo's old jackets, sent him from Napolita with a note he's just learning to read. When the urchin just his age snatches it from his thin shoulders, he begins to turn pallid with indignant rage. "Leave it," says Sparrow. "Don't be stupid." But Weasel chases after the boy.
augh bad bad bad.

Date: 2005-08-27 05:39 am (UTC)Alan Campbell/Torrens (=P) "luck"
(no subject)
Date: 2005-08-27 06:19 am (UTC)I don't--I can't--AHHHHH.
There was one young man Torrens remembered from the last concert. He attended to help the queen; this young man, who sat without speaking to anyone around him, came only for the music, he thought. This time the young man looked wearier than before, drawn--Torrens surprised himself by thinking that with any luck, no one would intrude, for as the music began the young man's face already softened.
Wording bad.

Neville/Rosa "soft"
(no subject)
Date: 2005-08-27 06:39 am (UTC)Ooooh.
"Oh, but, Mister Landless," she protests, hiding her blush behind her hands, "it isn't proper at all for me to walk with you, and you know it quite well! I do wish you would not--"
His voice is soft. "I can't very well tell you I love you with someone about, can I?"
(no subject)
Date: 2005-08-27 06:42 am (UTC)....I... I'd give you another pairing, but... I think... I think I've died.
Ooohhhh. So... awwwww.
Rosa/Neville "wait"
(no subject)
Date: 2005-08-27 06:45 am (UTC)Neville, when he visited, would wait outside until Helena came down, but if she had not brought Rosa with her, he would not move. They would talk where they stood, under the second-floor window, where any girl in the dormitories could look down and see them.
She often did.
(no subject)
Date: 2005-08-27 06:50 am (UTC)It's late and I'm uncreative. But tell me if you want me to try and be original. XD
the same. "smooth"
(no subject)
Date: 2005-08-27 06:55 am (UTC)Eh, at some point I want more Westmark, but we can go with this for a few dozen posts. XD After all, I sort of REALLY OWE YOU OMG for the Fish/Courfeyrac.
Rosa has got a new dress, but Helena is nowhere to be found and of course Eddy isn't there. The others girls have already seen by now. She leans out the window to sigh, and catches sight of someone familiar in the street. "Mister Landless!" He looks up. "Oh, do stay there, wait just a moment!" She turns and dashes down the stairs in the most unladylike way, joyfully touching the smooth satin of her pink sleeves.

Date: 2005-08-27 06:57 am (UTC)Red Cockade/...other Red Cockade. That sounds really strange. XD "cause"
(no subject)
Date: 2005-08-27 01:56 pm (UTC)Ooooh! YES!
Before he leaves, she mends his shirt one last time, cooks him supper. She doesn't feel like the housewife her actress mother always warned her against becoming. She is his wife. It is his cause. He thumbs the stitch in his sleeve, puts down his fork, and before he leaves he kisses her; he is her husband.
