Mrph. Going to go insane if I see that picture of Jesus nailed to the cross from 'The Passion of the Christ' on another damned newspaper page. The Soujin is, as she has remarked many times before, a pacifist, and that picture is starting make her feel physically ill.
Wish someone would put on Dorothy Sayers' 'The Man Born to be King'. That is doubtless better than 'Passion', and anyway I've read that.
Also, I refuse to get into another conversation with anyone about that movie, as our Episcopalian church has been obsessed with its coming our for the last two weeks or so, and it's all over the newspapers, and GAH DAMMIT AUGH!
On a much happier note, have purchased the recording of '1776'. It doesn't have Howard de Silva in it; instead it has Rex Everheart, his understudy. De Silva suffered a heart attack right before the recording. I'm convinced Everheart gave him digitalin.
Jefferson's wife is also not the same; nor is Rutledge. Everyone else, however, is nice lovely movie!cast, so that's all good.
Tried to find 'Assassins', but Borders doesn't have it.
