"Oh, She's My Dear, My Darling One, My Smiling and Beguiling One..."

It took me three hours to clean the kitchen to-day, including the microwave, the sink, the stove, and the icky spot behind the table. And now I am feeling awfully protective of it and wishing people were not in there cooking and messing up my pretty clean kitchen! -_-

We got Darby O'Gill and the Little People out of the library, and spent the whole movie trying to figure out who Sean Connery was. And then Mum came home and told us that he was Michael MacBride, and we were quite entirely gobsmacked, like last week's pottersues 'Sue.

Speaking of which, to-day's 'Sue is destroying yet another childhood memory.

Also, I shall try to get back to writing properly. The computer switch, among other things, has thrown me a bit off.

Still ill. The librarian gave me a cough drop. I checked out Diana Wynne Jones' Witch Week, and am hoping to begin King Solomon's Mines.
