Shamelessly gacked from [livejournal.com profile] erinpuff.

1) go to google.com and type in "You know you're from (your state here) if..."
2) pick out whatever you wish and bold the ones that apply to you.
3) post it in an entry.
4) have your friends do it themselves!

We went kayaking with da' for Fathers' Day, and now I'm sunburned all over my calves. Also, strawberry season is quite definitely dead and the raspberries and blueberries flourish. Mum made raspberry pie. Unfortunately, she also put chocolate in it. >_< Which is bleh.

Our piano lesson to-morrow is canceled, as the Celeste's father has died. It was to be my last. I shall not be going back. I feel awfully bad about that, particularly as Celeste's father is dead. Poor woman.

To-morrow I get my interview-y thing for Kinkora. Much eep.

I have been spamming [livejournal.com profile] musical100 for the last two days quite shamelessly. :)

Incidentally, if you drabble and listen to musicals constantly (which is a good half of you people; deny it not!) please to get over there and join.

They turned me down at Kinkora... said I was too young. So Mum called Stoneybridge and referred to me as a "high-school student", which, technically, I am. I have an interview, and must fill out an application and get tested for TB on Wednesday. Actually, I remember Stoneybridge. I planted flowers there when I was in GSA, which, incidentally, I seem to have quit.

We stormed the library and returned with The Mysterious Island by Jules Verne (Waen's); Lemony Snicket: the Unauthorised Biography (Waen's); Enya CDs (Waen's); three Cat Who books and The Gospel According to Larry (mine); Gypsy the Musical (mine); the El Dorado soundtrack with Elton John (also mine); and A&E's The Scarlet Pimpernel: The Kidnapped King (Mum's).

Then we looked for a digital camera and went to the shadow grocery, where I got tacky accessories that everyone hates. Specifically, a big plush frog and a ceramic sign with "Peace" on it, which I nailed to my door.

We discussed having a midsummer bonfire, but da' thought we should wait until it rains, so that the fire won't spread. We're all looking forward to it. It'll have to be soon, though. We're leaving for Iceland on Monday.

Da' told me to publish Cursum Perficio. O_o

ALSO: I miss you, [livejournal.com profile] fannore! *footclings*

In other news, I adore Elton John to death.
