"Nothing Would Ever Be the Same..."
Jul. 15th, 2004 09:49 pmWaen's decided she doesn't want to play tennis any longer, which is kind of annoying, since it's my main form of exercise. Oh, well.
Anyway, I got my TB tests at Stoneybridge to-day. I am ashamed to say that one of my new phobias is getting shots, and I was shaking and feeling sick by the time the nurse actually stuck the needle in. He told me it wasn't going to hurt, and the last time someone said that, out came my toenail, accompanied by a hysterical scream. But, actually, it didn't hurt all that much, and I'm alive. Unfortunately, he also told me that I wasn't to touch it or poke it or scratch it or rub it or "try to pop it like a pimple", so now I'm afraid to do anything at all with it. >_> Just sit there, staring at the little dot of dried blood halfway up my left arm. I suppose I should be less easily freaked out.
I'm getting kind of stuck with my Passepartout/Fix, largely because I stop every two minutes to go "Passepartout! Hee!" because I love his name so much. And then I reread that one chapter where he's "drunk" on opium and wibble and squeal and love on him. I am not ashamed of my Passepartout love, which is probably a good thing, because I couldn't hide it if I tried.
I want to see the movie, because Jackie Chan as him will just kill me, I know.
But I'm still annoyed about being stuck on the slash.
Also, my fortune cookie fortune went "You will have gold pieces by the bushel". Ooh, looking forward to that. :)
Also YAY! The Amendment to ban gay marriage didn't go through! Or something! I don't understand anything in the least, but I know that it's not banned! Yay!
