I would just like to take a moment to say that I would pay, however anyone wanted me to pay, to see a The Mysterious Island Wasps' Nest. *gazes beseechingly at
petronelle and
petitecatherine.
But nay, nay, that would require actually reading the book and then having the incentive to write anything with it.
Still. It would be really, really awesome. If only I were not totally incapable of writing that sort of thing. >_<
So, on a less impossible note, should I be Clerval, Jekyll, or a random Ami for Hallowe'en? ^_^

"Trusting Desire, Starting to Learn..."
Sep. 12th, 2004 10:16 pmHave written Cosette/Eponine, but it is not beta-read. Have written Nemo/Aronnax, but it is not beta-read. Am writing Cyrus/Ayrton/Pencroff, but it is ABSOLUTELY HELL and I CANNOT GET THE CHARACTERS' CHARACTERS RIGHT OMG!!!! DAMN YOU, JULES VERNE! WHY IN HELL DID YOU HAVE TO CREATE A CHARACTER WHO IS NOT PASSEPARTOUT AND THEREFORE RELATIVELY EASY TO WRITE?! GAHHHHHHH! *shakes fist hysterically at the heavens for about ten minutes*
*collapses*
Oh, man, if I ever get to heaven, I am so thwaking you.
Still. I cannot write Pencroff. OMG EFFUSIVE! *has apoplectic fit*
Jules Verne, I curse your name. And Waen's, too, for requesting the bloody fic in the first place and then making me write it.
"I'll go with you," said Pencroff.
"You don't trust me!" Ayrton replied brusquely.
Then, more humbly,
"Alas!"
He is unspeakably adorable. *sigh*
