psalm_onethirtyone: (Hugme! [made by mhari])
Omg so tired. Planned to go to bed at 00:00 last night; instead went to bed at 02:30; got up at 08:00 to go walking for the paper with da'; didn't eat anything all day except an apple because it was Weigh-In; spent five hours at Stoneybridge getting confused out of my head and feeling generally wibbly, besides the fact that Wednesday is my worst day there due to the 16:15 activity; then Waen came with Mum to pick me up so no mother-daughter venting--

Then it turned out I lost 1.6 pounds this week when I thought I would gain and suddenly my entire day improved. ^_____^ Came home and had pizza. Pizza makes my week. Also had some cake, just for a treat. Am feeling so good--I have 17.0 pounds yet to loose altogether, but only .2 to reach my ten percent goal, which is a very lovely feeling. People keep telling me I look nice--it's such an exciting feeling, this.

Of course, Rebecca complained to me cheerfully about how she eats and eats and never gains anything, and she even has to eat extra to maintain a healthy body weight, and then I was v. put out because no fair!, but really I don't mind. She's very cool.

There's a new lady at Stoneybridge, named Shirley, and she did the 16:15 activity with me, which was wonderful. I love it when people participate. Dick did it, too, and Emma tried as well, which normally she won't, so it was cool muchly.

Speaking of cool, am freezing to death. Must heap extra blankets on the bed to-night or risk awaking in the morning to find myself a stiff, lifeless corpse. V. unpleasant prospect.

However, am going to be allowed to sleep in to-morrow morning, for which I am very, very, unspeakably thankful. I shall need it terribly much.

Oooh, also? I wrapped Mum's birthday gift this evening. It took me forty-five minutes. I wish I could wrap people's gifts as sort of a business, because it's tonnes of fun going through my ribbon-and-bow collection to find the perfect things to wrap with. The bigger gift took over half an hour, and I made it so that it had green tissue paper on top and shiny pearl along the side, with a blue-green ribbon Ellen gave me and a silver-sparkly bow with a gold tassel wrapped about it. The smaller one I did with pink tissue paper tied off with the ends in tufts and with a bit of turquoise ribbon wrapped about it in a diagonal pattern, so that it looks like a bonbon. Muchly fun, and rather a nice effect, I think. I would love to have a little shop where I custom-wrapped people's gifts; it would bring me so much random pleasure.

Now, bed. NaNo can wait.
