"Let's Do the Time Warp Again!"
Nov. 16th, 2004 11:26 pmWaen and I walked to the hill church to-day. It was beautiful with the leaves and the no one else being out and the what-there-was. I like autumn very much. I just wish it wasn't so awfully cold!
Apart from that, very little of any interest occurred to-day, except that I am further in Phantom of the Opera and it makes me giggle with an acute lack of dignity. The style amuses me. Actually, though, I love Raoul and feel rather sorry for him; and I like the Opera Ghost and its habit of wafting whither it will. I fancy I will soon not like it so much, but for the present--and I like Phillipe and Sorelli, too, but I want to thwack Richard and Moncharmin. STOP RENTING OUT HIS BOX.
Hem.
Also, I got a beautiful new ribbon for my collection. It's very long and red on one side, gold on the other, so that they shine through on each other and change their colours slightly, and it's edged with gold wire. Scarves and ribbons both provoke me to attempt connoisseurship with them.
There's a Coldwater Creek opening somewhere in Harrisburg. Mum suggests we go there shopping at Christmas. I see no real objection, except that big stores terrify me greatly. Ah, well.
Must get up early to-morrow. Work. I hate Wednesdays.
It's still cold.
