Watch Soujin. Watch Soujin go into the library to shelve books. Watch her take her cart and shelve everything in record time.

Watch her get to the children's books section.

Watch her spend two hours in the children's books section, reading Tomie DePaola and being incredibly, incredibly happy. Watch her come out of it dazed and smiling, and see all the work she has to do now that she's procrastinated for so long.

Watch Soujin. Note that despite the procrastination, there is a strange, fuzzy, golden light surrounding her. Watch it fuzzle. Watch it permeate the atmosphere around her, and see the other patrons staring at her blankly.

Do you know what that golden light is?

It is her HAPPY LIGHT.

Soujin is so happy.

But now, she must go off to shelve more books. Everybody, wave to Soujin! See her smiling! Say, 'Yay, Soujin! We are so glad that you have become golden with nostalgia! Good luck getting your cart shelved before 16:00!"

Happy, happy Soujin.

John Keats
You're John Keats! You were born poor, trained to
be a doctor, and then decided you wanted to be
a poet. You threw yourself into poetry with
great dedication. You're very nice and
extremely dedicated to your art. You write
great letters and sexy poetry. It's amazing
how much you got done in your short lifetime.

So, to-day was actually quite lovely altogether, despite omg omg stress.

I have decided to enter a writing context. 1,500 original words. $200 third prize. It's all good. *g* Except, you know, not. I hope I can muster the energy, or even write so few words into one story. NaNo has rather inflated my writing style. Ah, well, it's worth a try.

Also, I may have finally got my treadmill. Mum and I are going to-morrow morning to check it out, which is v. pleasing. It's only fifty dollars, too, which is yay! because most advertised treadmills in the Classifieds are nearing three-hundred. Yes. So I am glad. Alas, though, it means I've got to get up early, and I haven't slept in all week. Woe is me! My weekends don't exist!

...But that's a lie. I am a v. lucky Soujin indeed, and I know it.

At any rate, am reading random LXG fic, and I blame it all on Waen that when Allan threatens to spank Sawyer, I get slashy thoughts. Demmit, that girl has corrupted me worse than Shouka ever good, which [livejournal.com profile] sparklychibi will attest is saying something.

My head hurts. -_-

But Good Omens is a splendid book--I was reading aloud to Waen and Mum earlier. And to-morrow we have an evil dinner party with a load of people I've never met and a load of people I have met and for that very reason with rather stay out of the way, but that's all one. I shall endeavour to barricade myself in the kitchen and wash all the dishes, and not eat too much tangerine sorbet. *g*

Also, must walk an hour and forty minutes to get my week's total in. Can only pray that to-morrow is not as cold as to-day was. Absolute hell, trulio.
