Since you're all dying to know how modelling went...

OMG. They want me to come back! Again! For a four hour, two week session! ^_______^ They liiiiiiiked me! And I earned six-fifty in tips, which is enough to send shawk her Girl Scout Cookies! ^______^

And everyone's drawings were so nice. One fellow even acrylicked me, and it looked wonderful. He made me look so much better than I do.

Oooh, ooh, and before that? We went out to a restaurant. I have not been to a restaurant in a million hundred years. I felt like a normal person again. I got to order anything I liked at all and even have dessert and it was so wonderful. I really haven't done that in over a year, and it was so exciting. It really was. I couldn't believe it, how it felt, to get to eat in a restaurant like a bloody demned normal person.

I lost 2.4 pounds. If I lose a pound a week consistently, it'll only take till the end of March to lose the rest of the weight I need to. Amazing.

Stoneybridge was fun to-day. Two very amusing dialogues occurred:

Maria: *mumble mumble mumble Tumble Wumble mumble*
Rebecca: What did she say?
Maria: *mumble mumble mumble Timble Wamble mumble*
Grandma Jennie: I think she said "Time Warp".
Rebecca: Time Warp? What's that?
Soujin: A dance.
Rebecca: A dance?
Maria: *mumble mumble put your mumble mumble together...*
Rebecca: Huh?
Soujin: She said to bring your knees in tight together.
Rebecca: ...Huh.

and

Rebecca: (regarding the flyswatters with which the residents were playing ball) Ha ha, these are like weapons! Isn't that crazy? Wouldn't it be fun to have a pistol some time? Then the nurse would come and tell you to take your pills, and you could be like, "I DON'T THINK SO!"
Soujin's Lovely Old People: *stare*
Rebecca: ...But actually, you should always take your pills. Pills are good for you. We like our pills. Um.
Soujin: --Grandma Jennie! Don't you want to hit the ball?

I love my job.

And I love modelling. *squeeeee* And I can't believe they want me back! I'm so excited!

P.S. I love Moby-Dick. It is really absolutely splendid.

Also, we dissected a clam to-day in biology, and I got to keep the shells, which had a splendid mother-of-pearl build-up. But then I gave them to Rebecca to use for sensory one-on-one visits with my Stoneybridge people, because they're good stimulating touch and sight. In exchange, I got a piece of thick, brown twine that was tying the newspapers together.
