"It's Far Beyond the Moon..."
Feb. 3rd, 2005 05:47 pmSo. Soujin was suffering from malcontent and general self-hate, and her Mum and Waen made her go out clothes shopping. Of course, you all know that Soujin had not wanted to go clothes shopping until she was beautiful, estimated for May, and has not been clothes shopping since some time back in July; but she was forced, and she went along with it, and probably spent more money than ever she should have AND.
She is now the proud, if somewhat bemused, owner of a pair of leather pants. Yes. Leather pants.
They make an awesome fuzzy corduroy noise when I walk, and they're shiny, and they fit just perfectly. They are Very Wicked Snazzy, frankly. And I love them.
Being the sensible person I am, I also got jeans and several warm winter shirts, and a duster Waen demanded I buy, and one real indulgence--a beautiful blue silk dress. When I wear it, my name is Luisa, with a 'u', because she is the sort of person I imagine could wear a dress like this and be beautiful in it, whereas I am not so sure about Soujin. ^_~
When I wear the leather pants, I am Alexis, and when I wear the duster, I am Shauna. Mum and Waen have decided that I get a different name for each outfit, the purpose being to confuse innocent bystanders and to have a fun inside joke.
And now? I really do feel a lot better, to my great surprise. I called off GSA with apologies, and now am ready to fool around make my snazzy fresco with Waen and Mum. And read my Animerica. And maybe, just maybe, have some popcorn as a special treat. But that's still a maybe. We'll see.
