Sleep and strawberries make everything better. I'm all okay now. ^_^

Current writing projects:

* [livejournal.com profile] sparklychibi's Drames
* Bossuet's chapter of The Picture Portrait Gallery
* The True Story of the Mysterious Mister Ned Land (Twenty-Thousand Leagues Under the Sea/Moby-Dick crossover)

My goal for this week is to have them all done by Saturday. You all have permission slap me around if I don't.

...It's friendly hostility day!

Also, I gave Da' all the Cracked-Out Slash Marathon fics from last week and he read them and we discussed language usage and literary devices and also the fics for a little while, which was diverting and pleasing.

I have successfully added 'connexion' and 'divers' to my vocabulary, and am busily trying to remember that it's 'waggons' and 'kerb' (those two tend to trip me up).

The Phantom of the Opera section of The Pit has not scarred me, but it has made me recoil. I do not think I shall be revisiting it again any time soon, unless I need a laugh very, very badly and not even BMB, [livejournal.com profile] metaquotes, and [livejournal.com profile] pottersues can do it for me. Neopets will also have to fail, of course.

Now off to do Latin.

Work was mad and fun to-day. *rolls eyes* We ran around quite a bit and my knees still hurt from calisthenics and Charlie got a birthday card and was really really super happy. ^___^

Anna is doing splendidly, Norma was funny and grouchy, Shirley was wonderful and watered a plant for me and reacted to me trying to give her the onion and everything, Alberta did not hate me, Bobby smiled and fooled around with me. May is not well, but she's getting better, she said. Marcie was in a very sweet frame of mind. ^_^ Agnes was rather unhappy over not getting cookies, but we explained to her that she cannot eat cookies, and she seemed to accept it.

OMG. A plant fell on my head. >_> I was getting the plants ready to take around to everybody and the one that's hanging just fell right off the hook onto my head. It gave me a massive headache for the rest of the day and also required a large space of time for cleaning up the mess, and Mary was quite concerned and made Rebecca check my head. ^_^

Rebecca is leaving for college in June, omg ack! Need Rebecca. Cannot work with scary other new person whom I will not know!

I am almost done with the book I'm reading on the treadmill, which I absolutely hate. Only sixty-two more pages, how-ever, and I can have Wodehouse and the book on OCD which Mum acquired for me and my Animerica. A nice, soothing lot of reading if ever there was one. -_- No more of this crazy Reformation Mary-Sue with no concept of time shifts.

Speaking of Animerica, it turns out my Assistant Director is an anime and manga fan. I'm lending her my Pet Shop of Horrors manga, and she's lending me her Angel Sanctuary manga and CLAMP artbook. Whee. *G*

Also am lending Kenzie Arsenic and Old Lace, because she likes Cary Grant. Hope to educate her about Peter Lorre at the same time.

To bed now. Up to-morrow with calisthenics, and to read Samuel Pepys and Reformation history. If I get it all done by ten o'clock, I shall have a good long while for writing. ^____^

And also I shall copy Vikivaki and Rythem Rythem Og Rekum Yfir Sandinn for [livejournal.com profile] snowyofthenight. Thump me if I don't.
