Life continues to be admirably uninteresting to anyone but self; books are read, music heard, and really I should sleep more, but that's actually not true.

Worked at various pieces of writing to-day, so that things stand as follows: halfway done with the Horatio fic of DOOM, nowhere near begun with Laertes/Hamlet, fiddled with the Danish foursome, which hates me, finished one and four-fifths of Kali's birthday fics, am not yet started with Nanni's, all of which can be generally summed up as:

I am getting nearly nowhere. Ahaha.

May cease to exist to-night for own sanity.

I remember when I used to be grateful to get six hours' sleep. Now I get whiny when I don't get eight. Thankfully, the idea of getting nine still seems like a horrifying indulgence, so I'm not that far gone.

Work to-morrow, play on Thursday, library Friday, Saturday gone. Must at very least get Nanni's story done, and finish the last little bit of Kali's.

I am dramatically unbeautiful. I want to be old.

I want to read.

I, Claudius is fascinating. Treadmilled one hour and twenty minutes to-day when I am not required to do more than half an hour. <3

I would like to cut my short black hair shorter. I wonder if my people would mind.

Good-night!

Oh, randomly (for what is better than random?): here is a scrap of Guildenstern/Rosencrantz I do not plan to use for anything. Is very silly, but perhaps that's appropriate.

"But what is it?"

"Well, I don't think it's what it is so much as what it could be, don't you?"

"Don't I what?"

"Don't you think?"

"What sort of question is that?"

"Well--I mean--wait, that's not what I meant--at least, I don't think it is."

"Hesitation, statement, statement."

"Oh! Are we playing?"

"What do you think?"

"Well, that's the trouble, I don't think. At least, I don't think I mean what you just said... er, what did you just say?"

"What are you making?"

"Oh! It's a--well, it's a very pretty thing, and you can use it for counting. You push these red beads over to this side for ones, one-two-three-four--and these blue beads over to the same side for tens, ten-twenty-thirty-forty-fif-- Does fifty come after forty?"

"No. Forty-one comes after forty."

"Forty-forty-one, then. And the black beads are for hundreds, but I don't expect anyone would need to go that high."

"Rosencrantz! Guildenstern!"

"Oh, no, does he want us again? Do you think he'd like my counting thing?"

"It doesn't matter. Bring it if you like. Come on."
