Dear flist:

I have no words. I this morning was greeted by three enormous packages and fourteen letters. Oh, my goodness. I opened everything on my bed, in gradual stages, and giggling and crying and generally behaving in quite a ridiculous manner.

When I am not at the library, I intend to address everything more thoroughly, including thank-yous, enormous smileys, and much eeeeeeeeeeeeing. But. I love you. I love you all so much.

This Christmas--this Christmas, I think, was very wonderful from a religious standpoint, because of the epiphany and the fact that I finally understand my religion and (I do feel ridiculous saying this; I don't think I shall try to explain, but) much spiritual good; but more generally, and things, and so forth.

I did think I had had far better Christmases.

But now, in retrospect, I think this was one of the most wonderfullest ever. I am the luckiest girl. Because I have such wonderful, wonderful, amazing fantastik friends. <333333333333333333

Thank you so much. Thank everybody so, so, so much.

Also, Miss Kylee, Mum named the puppy Truffle. I'm not arguing.

1. My brother's coming to-night! From Los Angelos! I'm going to make cherry-cream scones for him. ^_______^

2. Auuugh, I just agreed to host a Victorian Tea Party for my ladies at work. I shall have to get up obscenely early on Sunday morning to do that. ^^;;;;; Augh must research. I'm not that clever about tea or Victorian things.

3. There's a new girl working at the library, and she's nice. Also we don't seem to get in one another's way, which is nice, because sometimes I have that trouble with new people.

4. I moved out of my winter room and back into my summer room, as Daniel will come to-night and Miss Zara will be here next weekend, and my winter room is actually the guest room; I change rooms because mine isn't heated. But now I am all moved back, and we shall hope it goes well. I finally unpacked my suitcase and hung up my clothes and organised everything that's been in the same place ever since July when I came home from Sewanee.

5. MISS ZARA IS COMING NEXT WEEKEND. ^_________________^

6. Psychiatrist on the fifth, Doctor Viktorrr on the tenth. My toe is actually healing well, despite getting infected while I was in Tennessee. Now it just looks unpleasant and drains rather a lot, but Mum says it's all right.

7. I'm slowly getting used to my new watch; but it's so difficult to take on and off that I've taken to sleeping with it on. I wonder if I can shower with it on, or whether I shall have to take it off for that.

8. Mmmmmm, I've missed my treadmill. Time to read! Exercise! Heart's delight!

9. I seem to be turning my alarm clock off in my sleep. Because I set it every night, and in the morning I always wake up an hour or two too late, and my clock's been turned off. I have no memory of doing this. ^^;;;; Damn my subconscious.

10. Going out to shelve again. You know, people do very stupid things to books.

By the way, I'm a horrible person that this makes me laugh, aren't I? Thought so.

Ohhhh, and I wrote a poem while I was away. I'll go type it up now.

I love, by the way, I love the Icelandic CDs Uncle Joi gave me. The trouble is he marked them all in Icelandic, and not only can I not read his handwriting but I cannot translate which ones are which. So I am guessing. But the one I like especially so far has a song about Romeo and Julia on it. ^_______^ EeeeIcelandic, I forget how gorgeous you are in between hearing you sung.

In other news, [livejournal.com profile] erinpuff has made a hundred or so gorgeous Ros-and-Guil-are-Dead icons. Go look. <3333
