"And I Wondered Why..."

Strawberries and sidewalk chalk pictures and riding on Falcon bareback and wearing my hat with the ribbons and planting pansies and listening to music and smiling at my sister and buying onions and buying nails and climbing to the top of the horse trailer and seeing the guineas and eating peanut butter crackers and almonds and running through the pasture and getting my toes wet and cutting my hair.

I love Saturdays in spring.
