"Sometimes my Mind Plays Tricks on Me..."
Jun. 18th, 2006 11:01 pmI--am madly in love with Cary Grant. Eeeeeeeeee, Cary Grant. <3333333333333333 He has such beautiful eyes. And he's always making the most lovely faces. ^______^ Ohhhhh. The love. And unlike Fred Astaire, he was actually a nice person offstage. Less than three, eeee. I want to make a picspam for him. <333
...Have just finished My Favourite Wife, in case anyone is wondering. I still love Bringing Up Baby, although Katherine Hepburn was dreadful in that one, but Arsenic and Old Lace is my favourite. But--eeeeeee.

In other news, Waen bought the cars to-day. I telephoned a beautiful girl andburbled hopelessly chatted her up. I've listened to all six episodes of Reduced Shakespeare Radio Show, and other than that accomplished--absolutely nothing.
I'm a bit sorry I have to go to work to-morrow, simply because all I'd really like to do is lie naked in bed with the fan on high. It's unbelievably hot here. Unfortunately, I shall have to pretend to be alive, and exercise, and manage five hours of work, where our air conditioning has been broken almost as long as I've worked there. A lot of my people, very sensibly, have fans.
Nanni, and Gil--oh, if either of you have never read hope for the flowers before, you really ought. It's a beautiful book, and I know it's the sort that you would both like (you're subtly alike, and you're both the sort of people--) and, well, I've just read it Thursday, but I know you'd like it. It's got butterflies...!
...
...
CARY GRANT OMG HEART.
Oh, right. And last night I dreamt in vivid detail the part from The Eyre Affair when Acheron kills Styx. As though I were in the apartment watching it all happen. Why do I not get dreams with flowers and butterflies and love? I'd prefer that, you know--!
ALSO. It is worth noting to-day, however, that the beautiful and charming girl I was chatting up on the telephone HUNG UP ON ME. I shall never forgive her.
