Things heard and read around the Soujin house recently:
Mum: Daphne wants to be called at home soon.
Soujin: Dorothy wants to call Art Holmwood? That sounds like a desperatefans plot.
Daddy: You're right, she does sound pretty desperate.

Thanks so much for the Mad book and the subscription. Reading the book has made me realize just a millionthinks things about mad that I probably didn't ever want to know. Can't want to see you.

Soujin, regarding breaking the car mirror: ;_____________; Agh. I feel so shattered.
Mum: ...Was that on purpose?
Soujin: ...No.

Soujin: So has the news about the mirror been broken to Daddy yet?
Mum and Waen: ...

Apart from that, I have been accomplished to-day. Went to see Gail for a checkup; went to Newport to withdraw money for the trip, to buy broccoli from the farmer's market, to have lunch with Susan and Sandy, to get my photographs printed and finally pick up my doxy, and also something else that was also important even though I can't remember what it was.
During lunch at Espresso Yourself I was sitting at a little table, and across the way from me were three people, two of whom had their backs to me; the third person was a really beautiful little old lady. This ended up happening.
Soujin: *has no part in the conversation and therefore looks around--catches the lady's eye, shrugs shoulders, smiles at her*
Lady: *shrugs shoulders, beams at Soujin*
Soujin: *laughs!*
Lady: *beeeams and giggles*
Soujin: *waves a little*
Lady: *waves back!*
Soujin: *...gets up and goes over to her table and hugs her*
Lady: *hugsback!*
Soujin: *squeezes her hands* Have a wonderful day.
Lady: You, too.
Never met her before in my life. ^^ Have no idea who she is or anything. But she was really, really sweet.
Oh! Now I remember what I did. I got a new chain for my cross; my chain broke. Unfortunately, the new one is quite short, and I have a pathetic phobia about short necklaces, so I may have to go back and get the chain exchanged.
Right now, Cali is sitting on my lap and snuggling, which maybe means we're reconciled. I have spent the evening reading aloud from Waen's and my portfolios from '00, which are hilariously bad. Also I had been SAT ON. More specifically, a sock was shoved in my mouth, I was sat upon, and then I was tickled mercilessly. XD I love my family. --Also, I need to go to bed early because to-morrow, O day of days, I am driving to Pittsburgh. ^________________________^ So with that in mind, I shall be leaving shortly. Be wonderful and well while I'm gone; I'll miss you.
